Blue Ridge Christian Home in Raphine, Virginia provides total assist care, including age-in-place care through the end of life. Founded in 1975 on a Bender family dairy farm as a not-for-profit organization, it remains family owned and operated, applying Christian principles of care in small, home-like, rural settings.

Spiritual life is woven into the community through four weekly services: Tuesday evening Bible study, Wednesday morning chapel, Saturday evening song service, and Sunday morning worship. Additional activities include game nights, movie nights, poem readings, and performances by alumni families and visiting musicians.

Family involvement is encouraged without visiting restrictions; residents may go out for meals, leisure drives, or trips home for special events and vacations. The community was established in Raphine in 2000 by Melvin and Carmina Bender, expanding the organization's presence alongside locations in Stuarts Draft and Bealeton.
