my great aunt is in this facility and when i went to visit her. the place smelt like a zoo and while walking to the bathroom there was a resident confused in the hallway trying to find her room. all the staff did about that was tell me her room and said you can take her there. i found this very rude because arent they people too? why are these staff treating them with no respect. and expect me to find a room a resident belongs in without knowing the layout or anything. staff were sitting playing on there phones in the day room. make sure to check on ir loved ones Please

Today I found my 96 year old aunt in the lounge area falling out of her wheelchair. The lounge area was packed with residents and my aunt was squeezed in this area like a sardine. Yet again, her hair was dirty and not combed. You will know if an elderly person is getting good care just by looking at their hair. Thank God, I brought my brother with me. Who’s over 6 foot tall and he was able To pull my Aunt up in the chair. It looks like my aunt had a stroke. The one side of her body was paralyzed. You have to question why do they have a 96-year-old lady that is paralyzed on the left side in a wheelchair knowing wheelchairs are designed for transportation and not comfort My aunt should be in a reclining chair, not a wheelchair. We informed the staff that we were going to take my aunt to the restaurant for lunch. It would’ve been nice if they would’ve informed us about her stroke and her on a soft diet. We didn’t learn about her inability to swallow until we got to the restaurant and ordered her a grilled cheese that she was not able to swallow a bite of the sandwich so we ordered her soup and she did fine She fell asleep as we walked her back to the facility. Working many years in a nursing home are elderly people were put back to bed from 1 PM to 3 PM When we returned back to the nursing home, we noticed a lot of the men and women were sleeping in their chairs. I guess this facility doesn’t give the elderly people their afternoon nap I asked the Aid if they would put my aunt back to bed and they told me to put her in the corner of the room. The level of care here is extremely poor Don’t be fooled by the beautiful building or landscaping

Dad is receiving great care from the team! He came from home living alone and after suffering from small strokes, Blue Bell Place has been a great fit for him! Dad has his medications managed, he has his meals prepared daily and he enjoys visiting with his tablemates at meals. Our family has peace of mind knowing Dad is receiving the care he needs!

The facility was very nice. The receptionists are great. The nurses are top notch and kind (especially Theresa). The problem was with one aid named Lucretia. She had a “near miss” almost dropping my mom. My wife and I had a meeting with management Kim and Roxanne. They assured us it wouldn’t happen again and my poor mother dying if cancer with a fractured arm and cancer in her hip would be a 2 person assist. About a week later , the same aid Lucretia rolled my poor mother out of her bed and she hit the ground! They notified my dad about 3-4 hours later! My wife and I went to see mom the next morning just to watch her pass away right in front of us. My mom had more time to live! Physical therapy and a hair cut and color was set up for the next day that she was very much looking forward to. Nobody from Blue bell place reached out to send condolences to my dad or myself. They were probably too concerned with filling a bed and getting more money. If Desiree tries to sell your loved one a place there promising the world please be aware!!!!! She will promise the world and their management will dismiss your concerns. They have some amazing people there but it only takes 1 hole to sink a ship and they don’t see to care as long as they get paid. Please remember my mothers photo of you choose this facility. We all miss her very much ❤️
