Birchwood Cottages

Birchwood Cottages is a memory care community located in Owatonna, Minnesota, serving those living with memory loss in a compassionate, purpose-driven environment. The community is locally owned and managed, with its first building opening in December 2015 and a second building added in June 2017.

The community features open homestyle environments designed specifically for residents with memory loss. Staff are trained in dementia best practices through comprehensive teaching methods upon employment and ongoing throughout their careers, equipping them with the tools needed to provide quality care and support to residents.

The community extends its commitment beyond its walls through partnerships, outreach, support groups, and active involvement with organizations such as the Alzheimer's Association and ACT on Alzheimer's.
