I’m a resident of this property. I have been here for over three years now and was so excited when I learned I got to move back to my hometown of Greendale! From day, one, the manager in the office, Joanne, has been kind, courteous and so helpful no matter what I have needed. I cannot imagine the pressure she is under daily dealing with so many older adults with varying degrees of illness and mental capacity. I just wanted to recognize her as I don’t believe she gets enough praise! She deserves a raise!

Horrible disgusting management. My aunt has paid her rent early for the longest and is unfortunately stuck in the hospital no longer able to make decisions. This is a hard and grueling process for our family as everything is in limbo while the legal process of guardianship etc. is taking place. The manager Joanne has been harassing our family for rent even after being aware of the situation. No one can do anything until this is resolved for my aunt. The apartment is locked and there is no way we can access her funds at this time. Can you imagine calling someone about their loved one in the hospital and ask about money??? Unreal, but this is the world these days.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Our building manager Joann at Berkshire Greendale is truly exceptional. Her kindness, expertise, and dedication to supporting seniors make a real difference in our daily lives. She’s always helpful, knowledgeable, and creates a welcoming environment we’re lucky to have. Tenant of 5 years Thank you for all you do.

I moved from there a few weeks ago because of what the manager Joann and the owners subjected some of the residents to. There was a broken water pipe which flooded the community room, the hallway and about 12 units. The problem started when management subjected us to not only water in the units but also noise levels from the many large drying fans that were well beyond the safety of 85 decibels and also dust from the drywall repairs. Don’t think that management is so nice, after a month of repairs they never once offered to move us to a hotel nor did they even offer us ear protection or face masks to protect us from the dust. They just didn’t care!

I have been a Berkshire Greendale resident since it opened in 2012. It is a friendly senior living community with many social activities such as a monthly birthday celebration, a monthly themed luncheon, weekly exercise, sheepshead and bingo along with Wii Bowling leagues. Although it is an independent living community we watch out for our neighbors and enjoy spontaneous chats in the elevator, while waiting for the mail, or just gathering in the community room in the afternoon. The building is well maintained and the Property Manager has been with us since the beginning. I encourage you to consider this property when looking for a new home.
