My mother Ehteram Ahdoot was transferred to Berkley West in November 2024 and passed away 04/17/2026, during all this times she experienced different health issues and sometimes she even had very bad days but all the staffs were very nice, kind and caring with her specially Miss Aynalem Ansley Director of Nursing which is very professional, caring, consistent and extremely nice, she went above and beyond for our mother, also Miss Etaferahu Gabeyehu which taking care of our mother from the beginning with kindness and care, I wanted to say Thank You from bottom of our hearts and wish the very best for all, you helped us through all these difficult times and we appreciate you, we will refer and recommend your Healthcare center to our friends and family always.

I had my husband there for almost two weeks and was so happy with their service. It was very clean no smell staff was great everyone very kind. Aynalm Anley the DON/RN was very accommodating and helpful, Darryl, Cordelia, Leslie, Tori, Anglica Maria are the few names but all of the Personals were helpful and kind. I would recommend if you have loved ones that need rehab and care to take them there.🙏🙏🙏🥰

This is a truly awful facility. I had my elderly mother transferred out of there as quickly as possible due to the negligence of their staff. The place is chaotic, unsafe, and poorly staffed. Whenever I visited, the front door attendant was absent. I walked right in without anyone checking me in. When you call, nobody answers the phone. They keep you waiting for 15-30 minutes before the front receptionist finally picks up. I will avoid this facility at all costs. I have informed my parents’ care team to never take them to Berkeley West.

I have recently had to remove my Elderly Parent from this Facility. We were absolutely appalled by the Case Manager / Social Worker Etty Gomez and her anti social manners and pure Evil Attitude towards Patients and Families. She runs the show there and should be absolutely fired as this is something we do not want for our aging parents. This was an absolute nightmare for us. I had to make a complaint to the Health Board with documentation. These kind of Sub-Human workers are not to be anywhere near Elders or Children!!! I hope this gives a good outlook if you're trying to have your loved ones stay there. Please don't do it!!! Not worth what we went through as a Family. I would have given 0 stars but unfortunately that was not an option. Blessings

Avoid this place. Overall staff seems very inexperienced and doesn’t follow basic protocols. My mother was there for 24 hours and it was horrible. Upon arriving, the woman that checked her in remembered that she had left another person in the bathroom for 40 minutes… so she quickly disappeared to go rescue some neglected person on the toilet… that was just the beginning of the house of horrors. Next the person that came to change a bandage and she had to ask them to get fresh gloves because she saw them touching a bunch of other vials of blood and paperwork before. Finally, they didn’t introduce her to a PT at all during the first day there so we transferred her out ASAP. Of course, the owner told her that a transfer takes days and begged her to stay. Several people came in and BEGGED her to stay. What’s going on with this place? One saving grace was that the social worker was very nice and helpful. At least there is one professional there. My advice: stay away!
