My 91 year old Mom has been a resident at Bellevue Village at Woodstock for over a year and a half now. The facilities are clean and the meals are nutritious. It has a comfortable atmosphere and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Mom's rent includes meals & snacks, apartment cleaning, laundry as well as primary care Doctor visits when needed, podiatrists and hair stylists. My siblings and I who all live in different parts of the country have peace of mind knowing that Mom is in a safe community that cares for her. There was a stretch of time when there was a lack of entertainment and activities for the residents but the new Executive Director Ginger Laprise has improved on that greatly. There are now activities and entertainment to keep Mom engaged and happy. Communication between Bellevue and me and my siblings is excellent.<br>6/12/26 update. Ginger is no longer there, her replacement Brooke has now left after a short time. My mother’s main caregiver Samantha left. No new communication with whoever took over as director or is whoever caring for my Mom. Ginger used to send photos of Mom doing activities via texts, no one does that now.
