Nurse Christen took such wonderful care of my grandmother (Bettie Miley / Maw). A true gem of a person!! I will miss seeing her now that my Maw has passed! All the staff at Belle Maison are great. Kayla in the office is super helpful with financial needs. Nurse Ursula and all the aides took great care of my Maw in her final days also.

Had pelvis surgery Came here for rehab. Met with caring staff, clean acomadtions. At day one was barely able to move legs on my own. Here bout 13 days. Able to move as normal without putting preasure on legs per dr orders. With the provided therapy n attention from staff. I'm on the road to full recovery. Feel I couldn't have gotten this far without them. I have 7 days left here . I'll be in wheel chair for couple months. Confident I'll be ready when dr gives ok to walk.

I had to remove my mother from Belle Maison Nursing & Rehab facility due to neglect on part of the nursing staff. My mother is visited by me mostly every other day sometimes everyday along with 2 of my other siblings. On Monday afternoon she had a cough that didn’t sound good. I went to the nurse and asked if she had not noticed my mother’s cough? Her response was we are all coughing. On my visit Tuesday my mom was weak and still coughing and wasn’t her normal spunky self. Went to the nurse asking if they had not noticed mom wasn’t well? Nurse said mom was a little shaky but she thought was better. Requested her to look if she had changes to her medication? Nurse #1 who is the am nurse told me no as she looked into her computer. Nurse #2 took a look and said yes on January 23rd a medication was added. She asked if I had been notified of the change? No one informed me of any changes to her medications. Nurse #2 stated they are supposed to notify me of any changes, in which I am well aware of. Nurse #2 said it maybe due to the new medicine causing the changes in mom. I informed her to stop the new medicine and blood work needed to be done. That of course could not be done until the next day. This conversation took place about 11:40 am. After that I asked the CNA if she could help me get mom into her wheelchair. During the time CNA was getting mom up I noticed mom had soiled her clothes, the bed pad and sheets. CNA proceeded to change mom, nurse #1 walked in, CNA told nurse about the odor and appearance of what was on the pad and bed and was concerned. Nurse didn’t agree with CNA and dismissed it. I stayed with mom until close to 4:00 pm. During this time I had pulled the curtain for some privacy and sat with mom. At no time during the 4 hours I was there did the nurse or anyone check on mom after I had voiced concerns. On Wednesday morning I called at 10:48 am asked Nurse #1 how was mom? She stated the same, I told the nurse I would be there soon. At 11:03 am 13 minutes after the call with Nurse #1, my brother n law called telling me I needed to get to Belle Maison immediately, mom was not good her blood pressure was 60/30. She could hardly talk and was so weak she was unable to raise her hand or open her eyes. When I arrived I told them to get a ambulance now. I was told it was on the way. Once we got to the ER and spoke to the doctor he said mom was severely dehydrated and her kidneys were in terrible shape. Needless to say mom will not be returning to Belle Maison. The only reason I gave 1 star is because, there are a handful of wonderful CNA’s who truly care about the seniors in this facility. As for the nurses I had voiced my concerns to obviously are incompetent and don’t care. All I have seen them do is give out the seniors medication. The CNA’s know these Seniors well, because they are the ones doing the actual caring. Mom was private pay, not Medicare.
