I strongly caution families considering [name removed] Loving Care. My aunt, who suffered from advanced Alzheimer’s disease, deserved compassion, dignity, and continuity of care. Instead, I experienced hostility, verbal abuse, and ultimately being barred from visiting her. The facility owner made deeply offensive remarks toward me, misrepresented my interactions, and involved other family members in ongoing confrontations. I have documentation of these incidents. After helping care for my aunt, I was denied the opportunity to maintain a meaningful presence in her final months. She passed away, and I wasn’t even informed of her death or services. A facility entrusted with vulnerable elderly people should foster compassion and family connection—not hostility, intimidation, and division. No family should have to endure what I experienced while trying to love and support someone with Alzheimer’s.
