Hello, I have been in Baywood Court for 5 years.I have no regret leaving my lovely home in San Leandro. Baywood is a community /family with many choices. I can stay in my apartment and even eat in my apartment or I can join in the many activities. I get up looking forward to a great breakfast with friends. The staff who are there at 7:30, have a smile and know us, which brightens my day. At times ,I get in 5000 steps a day and I have not even left the building. When I returned from Spain, after visiting my daughter and family this March, I wrote my daughter saying, "It is such a relief that I live at Baywood Court." She wrote back,"I am relieved too." I exercise in the hot tub twice a week, I attend Yoga and Tai Chi classes along with exercise classes. I also use a ride service that gets me out in the community for lunch with friends, Library, Church and weekly meetings plus I use Baywood's transportation services for medical appointments or shopping. I have a community so when my family member wonders off to China or as above ,resides in Spain, I am fine, as I have my Baywood Community which keeps me involved in life. My siblings and their partners have come for visits from Ohio Kentucky and Michigan. Two couples have come twice, all staying in our guest rooms. They love it here. I am glad I live at Baywood Court. I’ve been a resident at Baywood Court for over two years and have had a very positive experience. It’s a wonderful senior living community with a lot to offer. There are many activities that bring residents together, like the New Year’s Eve dance, Fourth of July celebration, and Memorial Day BBQ. The food is very good, and the staff is always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and many of us really enjoy having a pool and hot tub, which not many communities offer. Baywood also has a 56-bed health clinic on site that residents can use if they need rehab or recovery, which provides great peace of mind. Overall, it’s a welcoming community and I’m very happy to call Baywood Court home.

I looked at many places in the bay area and found that Baywood Court was just right for my husband and me. I like that it’s not a high-rise, and the good- sized apartments with balconies or patios have different outlooks on beautifully kept grounds. The folks are friendly, the food is healthy and good, they are interesting trips and weekly programs…. And I could walk to Trader Joe’s!

5 star rating from Medicare. Skilled nursing rated top in the nation. You can't get much better than that. I have lived at Baywood Court for about 5 years and it has been the best move I could have made. I have a beautiful apartment, gardens to wander through, lots of options for activities and community involvement. And above all, I feel safe. My husband, who needed skilled nursing, was in the Health Center for a year before he passed. His care was top notch, with well staffed cheerful, loving caregivers and a clean, no smell environment. Baywood deserves every one of those 5 stars.

My husband and I visited Baywood Court a few times and discovered a hidden gem! The courtyards and the interiors are thoughtfully well designed and maintained with a gazebo, outdoor kitchen and even a swimming pool and spa which are rare to come by in these senior living communities. There is definitely a sense of familial connection as we watched many residents happily chatting and mingling with each other. They also serve delicious and healthy food which is a major and central factor in senior living communities (a big "shout out" to the dining team!) We are very thankful to both Jody and Nanette for making our visits extremely pleasant each time. They have been more than helpful, patient and gracious with us and we happily look forward to being part of the Baywood Court family!
