My sister was sent here for physical therapy to get better. Her room looks rough, old and outdated. Parts of the wall were patched up and not painted. The beds are rusty and old. The toilet comes up with you when u get off the toilet. You have to put a towel/ blanket down by the shower cuz the water flows into the room if you dont do so. And her shower is missing the knob so she has to go down the hallway to take a shower. The first night my sister was there something happened with the electrical and the next day the maintenance worker came in there trying to get the bed to move and adjust, fix the tvs and everything else. He said something happened and they had to reset the breaker and he said hes glad it didn't start a fire. Thats scary to hear that when your relative is in there. My sister is suppose to have bed rails on her bed and she did not have them. The next day they tried to find rails to put on her bed and couldn't find any so they had to move her to the other bed in the room cuz it has rails. It wasnt the correct type of rails but it was better than not having any. They also forgot to give her dinner. One of the workers came in with a tray of food on a plate covered and said a guy's name and we said no thats not her name and told the lady her name and she said she had the wrong room. Her name is on the outside of the room too. We waited about an hour thinking her food would be coming and it never did so we called a worker and told them she never got food. Finally around 7pm they brought a Styrofoam to go plate with dinner on it and when she opened it up it was pitiful. It looked like they scraped up what they had left and put it in a to go plate. It was suppose to be lasagna, broccoli and a breadstick. The breadstick was so hard it couldnt be eaten. Didn't bring her nothing to drink either. We had to go get someone just to get her some water. Needless to say we went to go get her dinner so she wouldn't be hungry. Definitely not satisfied with this place. There was a few sweet workers that came in and were nice and helpful and some u can tell were there just as a job. It was so sad leaving my sister there when I had to leave.

one of the worst experiences of my mom's cancer journey. I must have had 5 I'm sorry we don't have that as soon as we get there. I think the worst is the nursing staff, not one of them had taken any vitals, and did not have the equipment. made her remove oxygen to go to the bathroom, who does that,. all I will say at this point I am very angry with this facility and will not recommend this dump. let's don't forget that is in dire need of updating and renovations in fact this place and it's staff a negative 2 stars

Yesterday I visited my sister there who’s been a resident for over a year. They had a guy who plays guitar and sings come perform. I know they have people come but this is the first time I was there for it. I was very impressed. He was really good and the ladies at the table all seem to enjoy it. My sister sang along with many songs which was kind of a miracle she remembered the words. Good job Bayside. I like the way they try to keep the residents engaged whether it’s a movie or music or other activities.

Great staff! So impressed with everyone I met during my dad’s stay at your facility. So kind, caring, and helpful. I am so grateful for how they took care of him. They went above and beyond to answer my questions and help with the discharge.
