I found Bayshore Guest Home & Gardens through Oasis Senior Advisors a month ago after my Mom fell, fractured the back of her pelvis & could only go back to her assisted living community in Sarasota with 24/7 private duty nurses. Bayshore has a 1-to-3 staff to resident ratio and has an Extended Congregate Care (ECC) license, the highest AHCA specialty designation. It encompasses all standard and Limited Nursing Services, plus total help with personal care, advanced medication management, and nursing oversight for more complex health conditions. There are only 22 residents in this home-like facility and they have a special residents' phone number I can call to talk to my Mom, who can't operate a cell phone.<br>We were impressed with the owner, Monica, and her staff. While moving my Mom in and visiting her every day before we had to go back home, we observed how the nurses, med management techs, CNAs, housekeeping staff & chef were so patient and kind in their skillful care. Mom, who also has mild dementia, is on hospice, but the staff has encouraged her to be up as much as her pain level will allow and to be more social - something she hasn't initiated on her own very much in the past several years. We feel confident that she is getting the highest level of compassionate care at Bayshore and look forward to seeing that my Mom continues to do well there!
