I used Bayada Assistive Care to take care of my 90 yr old dad at the end of his life starting Thanksgiving 2024 and cannot say enough good things about this organization. They provided 24/7 care for my dad- the nurse, Maria, was kind and caring and checked in frequently with me. She let me know when issues arose that needed to be taken care of and was very responsive when I had questions. Of all the lovely aides that worked with my dad to assist him with feeding and walking, I must give special acknowledgement to my favorite aide, Sunday. He was so gentle and patient with my dad- never rushing him to eat at mealtimes and feeding him as slowly as my dad needed. He danced with my dad! He was a very compassionate man. But most important, when my dad began to decline, Sunday was the first one who noticed and told me. I was able to schedule a visit with my dad right before he passed and also was able to let my dad's facility and Hospice know that my dad was declining so they could give him end of life care. My family and I will be forever grateful to Sunday for this gift. Thank you to Bayada- I feel so lucky to have had them care for my father and they were worth every penny that we paid them. It gave me total peace of mind. Thank you!!
