My wife was there one night only,they were understaffed, Take long long time to answer your call light, nurse didn't seem knowledgeable with my bi pap machine, she told me( I'm Jackie's husband) that my wifes breathing was stable oxygen was at 97% yet she called dialed 911 to transfer my wife back to Hospital in Lapeer. But because she dialed 911 they were unable to to take her there they had to go to the nearest hospital on a 911 emergency call.One of their sister homes is excellent waiting to try to get back im there this was suppose to be temporarily until a room became available there. I am more than happy and comfortable sending my wife to that ome but this one NEVER again. I am sorry that it worked out this way but when they are supposed to be trained nurses I expect better from them I had to she the one nurse how to use the bipap Never have I had to show any nurse how to use it other than this one , as for the aide she was bettet mannered then the nurse and more friendly she tried to make my wife feel welcomed and comfortable.

This nursing if can call it that. This place is the worst. My sister is in there , they treat her bad, never give her pills on time ever. The food u cant hardly eat it. She's is in so much pain, she has advance liver disease. For the love of God don't ever take ur people there. The Cenas are some of the worst people there, so the doctor who goes there. The end is near for this place

Very Deceiving Facility! If you can take care of yourself you may make it out alive from this place. If you can’t, you might as well start planning a funeral. My father was neglected and mistreated here. He came here for short term rehab after a stroke, lost his left side, had two brain surgeries. He needed full assistance on mostly everything. I heard the staff complaining in the hallway about cutting up his food. Some days I’d walk in and his food was out of reach and not cut up, or on his left side. He was losing way too much weight so my family and I had to take on 3 different shifts EVERY DAY to make sure he ate because the staff wasn’t caring or doing anything about it. The call button times averaged about a half hour minimum to about an hour and a half for anyone to address his needs. Some days I’d walk in and the call button was way out of reach or tucked into a drawer. Sometimes they wouldn’t even be wearing their pagers so they couldn’t tell who needed help. One day I noticed he had white chunks clogging his catheter tube so I told a nurse to check it out, she said it was normal. It was not. He ended up in the ER with a bad bladder infection. He was on the schedule for four baths a week and he only received one per week. He was starting to get yeast infections all over his body. I hope the state of Michigan can do something to investigate or intervene because the poor souls here get treated less than dirt.

Zero stars! please consider my review before sending your family member to Bayshore…my father was here to heal from a stroke and heart attack. He has left side neglect, which means his whole left side is unable to move. He needs help eating, drinking, bathing, unwrapping things, literally everything he needs assistance. Bayshore staff WAS STARVING my dad. We asked/told multiple staff members he needs his food on his right side, he needs it unwrapped, and he needs his bed upright so he could actually eat. Almost every single day one of my sisters and I would walk into his room… his food would be completely wrapped up in Saran Wrap, milk not open, straws not unwrapped, and his bed would be completely flat! We had to cook him 3 meals a day and bring it into Bayshore so he could eat properly. They would also skip giving him a bolus (which is liquid food that goes into his stomach feeding tube when he doesn’t eat, which he needs !!!) Some days they would leave his food tray on his LEFT side and he wouldn’t even know they left it beside him. I have one photo as a great example I will add of his food being wrapped up and bed down. Some days his emergency call button would be pinned to his pillow on his LEFT side where he was unable to reach it. He also would be left with no water in reach. He developed yeast infections in his armpits, on his back and his groin from not getting bathed. He developed a horrible UTI that spread to his kidneys. The nurse told my sister that white chucks in his catheter tube was NORMAL. He later went to the ER for that infection!! Trust me we reported all of this treatmemt to administrators, head nurses and case workers BUT NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT IT. He was only getting bare minimum physical, occupational, and speech therapy some days they wouldn’t even make it to his room. Also CARRIE AND TRACIE (physical therapist) were loudly talking about my dad walking into the hallway and I confronted them about it, they apologized after I called them out. He doesn’t even know what’s going on half of the time and they were being mean to him because of how he was talking to them (guess he was needy and trying to tell them he’s in pain during exercise) HES ASTROKE PATIENT FOR CHRIST SAKE, so horrible. My poor dad almost died so many times since October 14th!! We have been fighting for him every single second of every day. BAYSHORE IS INHUMANE!!!!! We reported this facility and you will to if you send your loved one there.

They are taking really good care of my family member. My family member loves the food there. I trust them, and that's not easy for me to do. They appreciate our involvement and I love that I can visit 24/7 if ever needed. I know said family member is in safe hands. (:
