A great place to live. The staff is caring and helpful. There are many caring residents and the maintenance team are great. There are church services in the community room for those who wish to attend as well as crafts and games. The building is secure and safe. All in all, a good place to live.

Baptist Housing was the last place my Mom would have her own place and her own independence. She was a resident for 7 years. I felt a sense of comfort knowing she was in an apartment complex that locked at night, has emergency pool cords in the bedroom and bathroom. In addition to that they have an elevator as well. Every winter the parking lot was always taken care of if it snowed or had ice.This year with the really bad ice and snow we got, Larry stayed on top of things! My family and I were moving Mom's furniture out in all of that bad weather this winter but we didn't have to worry about the parking lot! They try their very best to make things very safe for their residents. You can tell they do it with love! The help that Larry and his crew did on a daily basis was incredible. They are extremely friendly and very helpful. Mom often said they would help her with her groceries all the way up to the 3rd floor and that meant so much to her. If something needed fixing all you had to do was put in a work order and they would come in a timely fashion ta do the repair. They are a Ministry and have activities throughout the month and Church service every Sunday morning down stairs in their beautiful community room. I'm so thankful that my Mother's final years of being independent were at Baptist Housing! Thank you to the staff and thank you to Larry for everything! God Bless

Lived there for 18 months. Never got rid of roaches, ( they had bed bugs in some apartments after we moved in). Got sick of killing the roaches from morning to bed, even at the stove while cooking dinner. Would use a can of Hot Shot in a month. Sticky traps from Walmart worked, sometimes. Our apartment was filthy when we moved in, and spotless when we moved out. Except for the nicotine stains in the walls from previous tenants, ( we are non smokers). After 2 stove replacement I told them I wanted a new stove, not a dirty one out of storage! Some tenants were ok, and some were dirty and smelly. Definitely knew we picked wrong place to live after our first month there!!! I'm posting my move out pics of a CLEAN apartment !!!

They take good care of mom. I feel better knowing she's safe. All the bills are included in her rent money. They have get togethers, and they share food. They have a community room for games, singing and church. They also have a building in the back yard where they can enjoy the view or just plain hanging out. Cameras are in hallway to keep a view for people that shouldn't be there. They can watch if a problem arises. The most beautiful thing, they let you have an animal to keep you from being lonely. That is the sweetest thing of all.
