My mother was there for a little over 2 months and the staff was amazing. The social worker Joe was easy to talk to and very helpful with whatever I needed or didn't understand. I got to know a lot of the staff there because I was there with her almost everyday and I appreciate so much the level of care and concern that they have for their patients. The physical therapist they have are amazing and encouraging. 💕😊

In mid March of 2026 my dad stayed for about a month after hip surgery. Honestly, walking into the facility I was a little hesitant about the place. It’s definitely in need of some updating (which they seem to be in the process of doing). But I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the level of care he received. The staff always were so helpful and kind and on it. I cannot say enough good things about them all. And even when I was feeling stressed and overwhelmed and worried about my dad they helped ME get through it. Also, the food was a nice surprise. I always tasted my dads food to make sure it was not too hot, or if it needed seasoning and honestly, with the exception of maybe one or two dishes that just were a little dry (I’m looking at you chicken breast) the food was very tasty and my dad enjoyed it a lot. They always had snacks he could have and if he was still hungry after a meal they made sure he had plenty. I truly truly appreciate all the care and kindness shown to us while he was there. And a big shoutout as well to the office staff who made sure all the Medicare was taken care of and that when he left that he was covered for in home health as well. If anything happens again to him and he needs more rehab I would gladly bring him here again. Thank you to all who were involved in my dad’s care, I appreciate you more than I can ever say.

It’s the people who make BIHR so great! My Mom fell and needed surgery and several months of rehabilitation. The staff were so kind, supportive and helpful. I will be forever grateful!

We found the staff to be professional, competent, and caring. The CNAs were so wonderful with my dad. The nursing staff, social worker (Joe), and physical therapist (Dan) all went above and beyond. I highly recommend this facility!
