I was very impressed with the administrator and staff at Azalea House. When I first entered the facility, I was greeted with a warm welcome. The environment was immaculate and inviting. Once my brother was relocated there, I could see that each resident was treated with care and respect; their individual needs and personal interaction were given top priority. I felt that our presence there really mattered. Azalea House is the best board and care facility that I have encountered. I am glad that we found this placement for my brother.

Azalea House has been an incredible blessing for our family. From the moment you walk through the door, you feel a sense of peace, warmth, and genuine community. Amber, the owner, is a registered nurse who lovingly transformed her aunt’s home into a beautiful, clean, and truly comforting Board & Care residence. Her heart for this work shines in every detail. The staff at Azalea House are exceptional. They treat each resident with respect, patience, and sincere affection. They take the time to truly know each person—understanding their abilities, routines, personalities, and preferences—and they support them with professionalism, kindness, and dignity. It’s clear that this isn’t just a job for them; they care deeply. All the meals are home-cooked, and my dad absolutely loves the food. He’s been eating so well that he’s even gained healthy weight—something we hadn’t seen in a long time. But the most special part of Azalea House is the community. Even in our third week, we already know all the staff, residents, and many of their families. There’s a culture here of looking out for one another, uplifting each other, and treating one another like family. Amber has created this foundation, and it is truly something rare and wonderful. Azalea House has given my dad comfort, joy, care, and dignity—and has given our family peace of mind. Amber and her team are truly heaven-sent. I cannot recommend this home highly enough.

My mother-in-law has been at Azalea House for 2 months. She moved there from another adult care facility in Pasadena when the level of care she needed exceeded the capabilities of that facility. At the prior facility, we were constantly worried about the level of care she was provided. We found ourselves continually stressed and feeling that we needed to be involved in her care almost 24/7. From the moment she moved to Azalea House, our stress level dropped a great deal. We are 100% happy and convinced that the care she is receiving is consistent and excellent. We still have the stress of having a loved one in a facility and away from family, but we don't have the additional stress of wondering if she is being well cared for. Amber and her staff are outstanding. Every one of them seems to enjoy their job and truly wants to provide every resident with the best care they can provide. The facility itself is easily the nicest that we saw during the weeks we were searching for options. If you are considering a bed and care facility, do yourself a huge favor and don't make any decisions until you visit Azalea House to see if it is a good fit for your family.
