I can only speak well of Cookie and Kelvin as far as the staff goes. Thinking maybe the staff have written the wonderful reviews, can't begin to imagine a person that has or has had a loved one, or been a patient there ever writing a five star review. Cortney was never any help, when Dr. was needed to be notified or you had meeting with her, nothing. The parade of employees when you first arrive is sooo very impressive, but when they walk out of the room, you probably will not see them again at all! My mom went there for rehab after a fall, and rehab seemed to be very good there. Food was not bad at all in my opinion. That button for help, yep, forget it, because you are most likely going to be told to go ahead and use your diaper so you will be good until someone gets to it. My sibling and myself took turns daily staying with our mom 7-8 hours a day and unfortunately, it was not enough. After 3 in the afternoon, the hallways are empty and hard to find anyone if you need any help. If you are diabetic, bless, good luck, your sugar may get checked at some time during the day. If appointment needs to be scheduled, well if the same person is still there, let's hope she has figured it out, got it wrong three times out of three. My mom was finally at the point that we needed to send home or otherwise, and actually she was so ready to get out of this place. We were down to a week of having to get mom out, she fell and broke her hip, here we go. Nothing had been said at all about a fall to us and after this happened, my mom's mind was not good at that time so not sure if she hit her head or not. We never found out anything about the fall and no one at all seemed to know anything. Two weeks later, on Christmas morning, our mom passed. My biggest regret, not getting her out of there when she was begging to leave. Listen to your loved one.
