Making the decision to place my mom in 24/7 care was not easy, but choosing Avondale Villa close to our home was the right decision for our family. She lived there for more than three years, and although her final months were difficult, I truly appreciate the compassion and dedication the staff showed in caring for her. No place is perfect, but I know the team did their best to meet my mom’s needs and treated her with kindness and love. She was one of their favorite residents, and I believe she felt genuinely cared for and happy there. My mom passed away a year ago, and as I reflect on her life and passing, I am deeply grateful to the Avondale Villa team for the meaningful care and support they provided. I would confidently recommend them to families seeking compassionate care for their loved ones.

I toured this facility when I visited "The Villas". Although the floor staff are different, they are run by the same admin staff so you can expect the same level of care.

My wife, a professional geriatric care manager who had more than 15 yrs experience with referring clients to Silver Oak, chose this facility for my 95 year old mother after she broke her hip and could no longer be alone in her home. She has lived at now Avondale for 18 months. We have seen my mom thrive in a small Skilled Nursing Facility where the staff has been kind, caring and aware of any health changes. During this pandemic, the staff has received additional training per state guidelines and there have not been any positive covid cases among the residents. Family members are now on Zoom every two weeks to get updates from the new administrator who listens to concerns and has made changes to accommodate us and the residents. The administrator is open to suggestions and has acted promptly to make changes. It is difficult for all of us during this time especially communicating through a closed window. The staff helps the residents with our visits and we can see that our mom is receiving excellent care. In a smaller facility, the staff and residents can have a more personal relationship and even small changes can be noticed and addressed more quickly. We are glad she is at Avondale.

My uncle needed to go to a skilled nursing facility and do some therapy right after coming out of the hospital. We did some research as we look for a good one and we were right for choosing Silver Oak Manor! The facility’s always clean, the staff are so friendly and helpful! My uncle improved his health in no time! We definitely found a great one! Thank you to Silver Oak for their outstanding services!
