My mother is a resident there to gain her strength back after surgery and the facility is a joke. They have lost her false teeth, glasses and her clothes while staying there not to mention her phone that was “locked up in the med cart ended up broken” and they REFUSE to cover the cost of the lost items when it’s their responsibility to safeguard her personal belongings which they aren’t adhering to. Me as a family member should not have to replace items that are negligently misplaced or lost. So if you would like to kick out more money for lost items then by all means send your loved ones there if not search for a better Medicaid facility to send them to since they get paid off a residents insurance instead of other facilities that take only cash or credit cards to pay for their monthly rent.

I'm enjoying this facility so far. Everyone has been really nice to me. Honestly, my stay has been pretty good so far because of Diana. When I first got here amelia and Diana made sure I was settled in and got me everything I needed. Thank you for that, I appreciate it.

My Mom had a slight stroke then after treatment. Health First gave me a list of nursing, rehab facility centers. I choose, Aviata at Palm Bay. I went there every day for almost 100 days. I am very grateful for everybody there, they were very welcoming while it felt like home to me everyone there was very nice and accommodating to me and my Mom. Special thanks to the workers I spent most time with the front Desk, my Mom's CNA, Marvilyn, who also taught me a lot. Her Social workers helping me with my stress and needs Diana, Jenny, Administrator Lorna, and my Mom's physical therapists Tonette, and Tasha. My Mom is coming home in 2 days. A job well done! If you have loved ones who cannot advocate for themselves, I would strongly encourage you to not send them here. My family member declined significantly during her stay here; multiple falls, fractures, and UTI from holding her bodily fluids because she was not taken to the restroom when asked but instead was told to using the restroom on herself, to name a few issues. Our family had to ask for specific tests more than once and there was a true lack of transparency. We had to pull her and place her elsewhere and we are praying she gets better with better care.

I am proud to be a part of Aviata Palm Bay as the Administrator. Our team works every day to provide compassionate, person-centered care and create a warm environment where residents feel respected, valued, and supported. We strongly encourage family involvement, as we believe collaboration leads to the best outcomes and overall well-being for the residents we serve. I am always available to hear residents and families out, feedback, questions, and concerns matter to us. We want every resident to feel at home and every family to feel confident in the care their loved one receives. I am grateful to work alongside such a dedicated team and wonderful residents who make this community so special.
