I would give 0 stars if I could! Don’t let the 5-4 star reviews fool you please! The entire place is dirty everything smells of pee, fresh and old (the hallways, rooms, bathrooms, etc.) the wheelchair provided reeked of pee. There’s paint chipping off everywhere, the walls and floors are so dirty wouldn’t walk around without socks or shoes. But don’t have laundry done here you might not get it back (lost socks and shorts). Some of the staff seem to be caring and helpful but way more often they have an attitude are rude or will ignore you entirely. They don’t seem to know which patient is which when coming in for meds, X-rays, or other services (had to remind the same person multiple times during the same visit which name they were there for) which with meds it’s extremely important to get right. Also meds were needed every 4hrs and we were lucky to have them brought twice a day! If you need assistance be prepared to wait an hr or 2 to be helped (needed help getting to the bathroom waited hrs had to go so badly ended up going alone which is very dangerous with a high fall risk and when they came by 2 hrs later they gave attitude that had already gone to the bathroom). The whole place needs a complete overhaul, it’s disgraceful how they’re treating people when they’re the most vulnerable!

Professionalism: everyone that answers the phone should have a class on what professional should sound like. While I understand there could be joking around in the workplace, when answering the phone, an employee should stop the laughing and answer professionally. Why? When I am looking for best care of my loved one, I want to ensure that I'm taken seriously from the get-go. You might think is petty but from my end, I take it as unprofessional and someone that doesn't take others seriously.

Clean facility. Caring and attentive staff. My father in law who has dementia came back home rested and way calmer after 5 days here. Thankfully, he has been calm and not had an episode at home since then. Great follow up from Mary inquiring about him even after his stay.

If I could give zero stars I would! We only took my grandfather here bc the reviews were great but after experiencing it it was AWFUL, we actually pulled him out EARLY and choose to bring him home and pay extra money for an in home therapist. He left this place with a massive diaper rash (bleeding down there) . His medical needs were not meet- many times he went without his midline medicine. If you Have To send your loved one here you MUST advocate for them and spend all your time here to ensure they are getting somewhat proper care . The place smells like urine, and they don’t clean the floors from what I could tell. The floors were sticky and gross and the same trash on the floor for the whole week he was there. Didn’t check the bathroom. Don’t send.

My clinical experience at Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center was truly meaningful and impactful as an Arizona College of Nursing: Melbourne student nurse. The nurses and staff were incredibly supportive, always willing and genuinely excited to teach and guide me through fundamental nursing skills. Their kindness, patience, and professionalism created a welcoming learning environment where I felt encouraged to ask questions and grow. Every team member was polite, engaging, and dedicated not only to patient care but also to student development. This experience strengthened my confidence and deepened my passion for nursing, making it a memorable and valuable part of my journey.
