The young ladies who are caregivers are okay. The senior staff are defensive, dismissive and go do whatever it takes to cover their own. There is simply not enough staff to cover the residents. You can have three bedridden patients to one caregiver. And don't think reporting anything to Department of Health and Human services is going to work. They will investigate but if they don't see it while they are there then it didn't happen. So reporting mistreatment of your loved one unless you have a video of it happening will not be addressed. So records are changed, text messages and photos are ignored. So I suggest you go everyday to check on your loved one. Or do what I did, have your loved one in a hospital bed in your living room.
