I have been at the facility numerous times and each time the staff are rude and seemingly mean to the residents. We had to take my aunt out of the facility due terrible treatment and care.

My husband had an unfortunate accident while we were in Watertown for a car show and he ended up having surgery at Prairie Lakes Hospital then transferred to Avantara for rehab. Every single one of the staff there were amazing. Kind, compassionate, caring and professional. He got strong enough to travel home to Missouri and is in a rehab hospital now. We both thank you so much for the excellent care he received.

Well It’s honestly saddening that when you go to see your family in a place you think they’re being cared for, only to find out that they treat the residents more like an object or someone slow, I have never seen such disgusting behavior before, until I visited, please accept that our grandparents still are human beings

after multiple hospital stays, in many facilities, AVANTARA provided the best care I've had in my 60yr. I would never hesitate to go there again if needed and would highly recommend it without question. Watertown AVANTARA REHAB is an exceptional facility. I'm so grateful for them. ♡

My mother was a resident at Avantara Watertown, Sd from October-December 2024 after a horrific auto accident. Her rehab and care was fantastic. We have decided that our mom needs Long term care and have now admitted her as a permanent resident. The choice that we admit her to Avantara was do to the excellent care she receive during her rehab. The staffing ratios, the food, the atmosphere and the excellent care made our decision much easier than it would have been.
Thank you Avantara Watertown! for the care you are giving our mom.
Stephanie Picken Pattison
