My visits to Avalon were two days I'll never forget. It was Divine providence that my first visit happened to be on Car Day. There were families visiting the residents. My nephew was totally surprised that my cousin Richard and I showed up. There was popcorn, cotton candy, hot dogs, even clowns on the lawn and in the parking lot. When I returned the next day word had gotten round that I was an actor who had appeared in several movies and TV shows that some staff and patients had seen. I had already been impressed the day before with the courteous professionalism that surrounded me. The fellowship between my nephew and many members of the staff filled my heart with comfort and confidence that he was well cared for. Because I live in Buffalo, NY and at age 76 I don't travel as much as I used to, seeing him in this wonderful environment was a joy. I look forward to planning my next visit before winter comes to Buffalo. God bless Avalon View, the staff and each employee. My heart is full of gratitude.

My mom just completed her rehabilitation stay at Avalon View Health & Wellness, and we could not be more pleased with her experience. When she was admitted, she needed significant rehabilitation, and thanks to the outstanding care she received, she is now able to walk again and return to her normal daily activities. From the very beginning, the Administrator gave us her word that my mom would receive excellent care, and that promise was absolutely kept. The nursing staff were kind, compassionate, accommodating, and always willing to help. Every member of the team treated my mom with dignity and respect. What stood out most was how welcoming everyone was. It truly felt like home from the moment we arrived. The therapists worked hard to help my mom regain her strength and independence, and the entire staff made our family feel supported throughout the process. Thank you to everyone at Avalon View for helping my mom recover and return home stronger than ever. We are incredibly grateful and highly recommend this facility to anyone needing rehabilitation or skilled nursing care.

Chrystie has always been very helpful from the time my loved one has been a resident. She's very detailed oriented and she will help when she can. Recently she was very diligent with assisting with some business matters and I appreciate all her help.

A friend stays here and of all the homes I've seens over the years with my stepdad being in a lot of them and working in one once, this place is the best as far as how they seem to care for the people and make the place nice inside,it has been upgraded from how it was few yrs back. They have so many y activities and ways to make the residents lives more enjoyable. My friend gets her nails done and does bingo amd makes tie dye shirts, they have stuff goin on all the time. You need to be buzzed in and out but thats a good thing I think. If I had to be in a home I would want a place like this.No pics at this time but will post some on here soon.

I've seen first hand how Avalon has treated my best friend mom over the past few years. Avalon as a whole has made his worries evaporate. Ashley i belive is the administrator who has nothing but cared for all her residents with kindness and love. The DON has made my buddies day by dealing with his confrontational mother some how he believes your an angel in the sky. The building and grounds I've seen change dramatically and upgraded over night. Definitely one of if not the leading assistant living facilities in all of Missouri. And thats a proven fact. Super greatful
