As a family member of a previous patient at Avalon Health & Rehabilitation, I can honestly say the staff goes above and beyond for the residents. Everyone is caring, respectful, and always welcoming when family visits. My aunt received great care. Our family truly appreciates the compassion and care they showed every day. Highly recommend this nursing home and rehab facility!

Great staff! Hard working and considerate. Nurses Beverly, Wanda, Tasha, Beverly and Ashley are wonderful. Social worker Jamie is outstanding. Her care and concern and thoughtfulness go way above and beyond CNA’s are helpful and thoughtful as well. Overall great experience for my mother and myself. CJ who is the administrator listens to my issues when they arise and between him and Jamie, problems are solved. Jo Jo at the front entrance is welcoming.

am so grateful for the care and compassion this nursing home showed my cousin. From the very beginning, the staff treated her with dignity, kindness, and genuine respect. It was clear that they weren’t just doing a job—they truly cared about each resident as an individual. The nurses and caregivers were attentive, patient, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure my cousin was comfortable and well cared for. They kept our family informed and welcomed us with warmth every time we visited, which meant so much during a difficult time. The facility itself was clean, peaceful, and well-maintained, creating a comforting environment for both residents and their families. Knowing my cousin was in such good hands brought us a great sense of peace. I can’t thank the staff enough for the love and dedication they showed.

My father is a patient at Avalon Health & Rehabilitation, and our family has had such a positive experience. The care and attention he receives truly give us peace of mind. He also enjoys the activities, the meals, and the cutest pet therapy dog that comes weekly, Chubbs. There are a few staff members who have made an especially meaningful impact—Nurse Beverly is always compassionate and attentive, JoJo at the front desk is welcoming and helpful every time we visit, and Amanda, the healthcare navigator, goes above and beyond to support both patients and families. It’s clear that the team genuinely cares, and that makes all the difference. We’re so grateful to have found Avalon and highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality care for their loved one.

My Mom was at this facility recently. Was recommended by the hospital. We had initial concern with the facility age. The rooms are a little dated but very clean and useful. We admitted her for rehab due to her falls. The staff is VERY attentive. Mom is very stubborn. And wants to get up and move around even though she can't safely. So...Had to be monitored constantly. She never had an incident while there. She loved the food and spoke very well of the staff. Was bathed regularly. Was Overall a great experience for her and us. She will likely be returning if required. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ANDY STEED
