Fairly nice facility, very upset that person I came to visit had to wait for 2 hours to be put back to bed and I had to go & ask to have the patient be put back to bed and magically three staff members appeared to put the patient back in bed. Amazing how quickly things get accomplished when you get alittle loud when you get asked. Shouldn’t have to do that and I totally understand that healthcare care facilities are under staffed, but when I went to the desk to ask the nurse for assistance the staff were sitting in the area of the desk , one was sitting back in the chair with their feet propped up on the table. I will give this facility credit that there was no overly horrid urine smell like they use to have. But the staff should NOT be sitting within eye shoot of the visitors view with their feet propped up on a table. Not to mention the patient s do crafts and sometimes eat at this table. They should do better! What if these patients were the staffs family members? What would they think about seeing what I saw?? Guess no one thinks about that.
