I’ve really enjoyed living at Atria Newport Plaza. One of my favorite things is the location being so close to the beach is honestly hard to beat. It’s nice being able to go for a walk, it’s literally a 5 minute walk. The community itself has been a great place to live. It’s quiet, clean, and always feels well taken care of. The staff has been friendly and super outgoing. I never see any trash in the hallways, the building is well taken care of. The residents that reside there are great to talk to as well, friendly neighbors. The pets that reside here are friendly and non aggressive which is a great thing not to worry about. The activities staff is very engaging with the residents and even allow the families to join in on whatever activity of the day. Overall I highly recommend.

Most importantly, all the areas in this place look and smell very clean. Every staff member (the reception area staff, servers, & care givers, to name a few) is genuinely caring, warm and patient. A variety of activities are offered, including nightly movies, walking club, live entertainment, etc. Atria Newport Plaza is a good place to be.

Atria Newport Plaza is a wonderful senior living facility. The apartments are well appointed, and a good value. Everything is clean and aesthetically appealing. The staff are caring and friendly. We appreciate the variety of activities offered, and the enthusiasm of the activities staff. They put great care and effort into presenting special events on a regular basis.

The aids and assistants here are exceptional! From the medical aids, dining personnel, front desk people, entertainment group, exercise professionals, to the administrative staff all give outstanding service! Atria hires people who actually love working with seniors…that can not be faked! Their friendliness and happiness is contagious, making you feel special and important! They become just like family and you really love them! We are sincerely going to miss them ALL when we leave and will be so happy to see them ALL when we return! My mom has been in memory care at Atria for about six weeks, and I couldn’t be happier with the decision. The staff are incredibly kind, patient, and truly care about the residents. Moving a parent into memory care is never easy, but the team has made the transition so much easier for both of us. Knowing my mom is surrounded by people who genuinely care for her gives me great peace of mind. I’m very grateful for the wonderful care they provide.
