Im speechless from moving my parents from The Gardens on Barry Road to Aspire Platte City- such a blessings. The workers work (never see cell phones out), my parents are genuinely being lovingly taking care of. My parents are happier and Aspire is like a breath of fresh air! Heather the Social worker is beyond amazing- she keeps it 💯. Amen!

If I could give a negative review I would. My grandfather was put into this home by a conservator us as the family had no say in the decision. While there I would receive calls from him daily that he was not treated right there and he wanted to come home. I could not take him out of there. He got sick, well everyone got sick. He needed help I told him to push the call light for help. He reported that he did and no one ever came. I went for a visit pushed the button and learned it in fact the call light did not work. No one came to give him meds and he was left in the wheel chair for long periods of time. He was a resident about a month and 5 days before he died. He was not dying when he entered the facility. After his death many of his personal belongings were missing including his watch, his phone and blankets he received just before his passing. We’ve called many times to find out if the belongings have been located but the calls go unanswered and messages unreturned.

My brother-in-law was there for 2 years. He received excellent care. One thing I noticed compared to others - it didn't smell. That shows to me how clean the patients and surroundings were. My brother-in-law recently died there. He was treated with the utmost respect as he transitioned. When we would call to check on him, we always received factual information about his condition. Both of my parents were in nursing homes and they were awful so I know how they can be. Aspire has caring staff from the top -- down.

-500 stars if I could! Absolutely horrific, we moved my grandmother after less than 6 months! Most of her belongings were lost or stolen, she has such a severe UTI that she was having strike symptoms. Not to mention once we got her to a hospital after they refused to send her l, she had bruises everywhere (including inner thighs somehow) and such trama when they tried to get her urine at the hospital. She was hospitalized for 2 weeks due to her condition.

Placed my mom here one year ago. Was first patient in newly renovated Rehab unit. Awesome care. Family atmosphere. Was at another facility after leaving hospital which only cared about what you could pay. She is still at Aspire and doing great. Every place has ups and downs but from the administration all the way down every patient is treated with respect. Every employee knows the patients name and takes care of their needs. There has been changes in administrators and she is awesome. Truly a place I would recommend highly. I don't have to worry about my mom's care which is a great relief. I am definitely kept informed.
