If I could give a zero I absolutely would. I would not recommend you sending your family here and if you have a family member here go get them immediately if you want them to live.my mother was there for two weeks and was supposed to be there to rehabilitate to go home and she died after two weeks! Also they did not notify me they went and called someone else! I found out my mother died via text message from a stranger. She died at 5:30 am and I was notified at 11 they left my mother lay there dead u til we called the funeral home and by that time her body was unviewable not even for my sister or I!!! I could say so much more however it will come out soon enough! Go get your family before it’s to late

This place needs shut down. Circumstances around my mom’s death and notification after were suspicious, details not to be included for privacy reasons. My sister and I got different stories and they started becoming defensive and deflecting blame onto my dead mother for their mistakes. We are seeking legal representation. I can say that my personal opinion is I would never send another family member here, ever.

I am dismayed and very concerned by the reported lack of quality care for both residents and employees at this facility. Charged with caring for some of the most vulnerable humans, stating that they are dropping the ball is a massive understatement. As of July 2024, the ratio for care in PA is 1 CNA per 10 residents during the day, 1 CNA per 11 residents in the evening, and 1 CNA per 15 residents at night. These ratios have been grossly exceeded, with one CNA caring for 27 patients alone on a single shift. Check their employee turnover and burnout rates. They speak for themselves. Three Federal fines in the last three years, 48 complaints in the past 12 months, are just some of the reasons this facility has a one-star rating on Medicare.gov. Avoid this facility for your loved one if possible. If not possible, check on them daily to ensure their needs are being met. Hopefully, there will be a change of heart and management at Armstrong Health. So sad and disgusting all at the same time.

My dad spent his last 3 months here and couldn't ask for better care. They treated him like family and kept us notified of anything we needed to know. His room was always clean and so was he. I only wish for the sake of the staff and in turn the patients, that these facilities would have more staff. It's a very tough job and they all work so hard.

They have fired a few people and now the staff is very wonderful. I don't know what I would do without them. My wife and I are very busy people working 2 jobs each to be able to take care of everyone. Now that this place has fired the problem people my mother is safe and comfortable. She has made friends with staff who help her in every way possible. My mother is paralyzed from a stroke and they take the best care of her. Some of her friends that are staff even do extra things for her like bring extra food and get things from the vending machine if she has a craving. They just go above and beyond and the nurses are super nice. They did have a problem with a few mean nurses and aids that were a problem but have since got rid of them after finding out how they were treating patients. I'm glad they caught it and now that place is a heaven sent blessing for me and my family. I recommend it to anyone in the area who needs assisted living.
