There were a few things we looked for in a group home: 1) Structured but adaptable daily routine, 2) Care takers familiar with memory care, 3) great working relationship with Hospice of the Valley--which was what we had for my father-in-law, and Arizuma Horizons Assisted Living checked those boxes. From the day we toured, to the day my father-in-law passed, Lynn the owner, and Jacky, the manager, worked with us during a very challenging time for our family. We can't be more thankful and more appreciative of the work they have done in this time. Thank you!

My mother has been a resident since Oct 2021, she is ALTCS the owner collected payemnt from the state and from me and when my case worker caught the error the owner had a fit and argued for weeks and didnt want to refund payment. She doenst understand her business and her association with the state of Arizona. On the website they sate they dont accept behavioral problem people my mothers toommate for a couple of months was behavioral, my mothers hands would shake and her nevers were shot because of her roomate, finally they moved the lady. Then when we wnated our money that she collected by mistake she said my mother had a private room ??? When she had 2 beds in her room and a this person with beavioral problems, I have emails in writing staitin all of this too. Then the owner since she was caught ripping me off with a service plan fee of $55 whuich she is refusing to refund shes fighting this by the way, doesn't want my mothers case worker at their facitily anymore, she even had the gall to contact our attorney?? Service Plan fees are a nono with ALTCS we aren't suppose to pay those. I paid this in April 2022 and to date I still haven't received a refund. The actual care givers are the best Mona and Johnny. The owners dont know what they are doing and it dosen't seem like they know how to manage their money very well they are always broke and asking for money they arent suppose to. Also they took in a patient that was dying and the children didnt allow pain meds so he laid there and cried out in pain until he died, eveyrone at the home was really upset, it was so unneessary. Give this place a pass
