Very clean! Which is important. Staff is kind and helpful. My brother in law has a huge room! He’s in good spirits, so that means he is comfortable and being taken care of.

Mary, Julie and the entire AristaCare staff have been absolutely amazing while caring for my aunt Adrea Higgenbotham during her 100 plus stay. Their compassion, professionalism, and dedication truly made a difficult transition so much easier for our family. From ensuring that guardrails were properly in place, to coordinating the delivery of her hospital bed and arranging nursing home care after discharge, every detail was handled with care and concern. Even after my aunt returned home, the continued support and follow-up showed us that their care goes far beyond just rehabilitation. The love, patience, and professionalism shown by the entire team has been nothing short of exceptional. We are beyond grateful and highly recommend this rehab facility to anyone in need of quality, compassionate care for their loved one.

This review will more than likely be taken down. I'm a current resident here at HorrorCare. Where administration cares more about heads in beds than they do about the people attached to those heads. First I want to talk about staff. David Greenberg or Greenberger, the Administrator. One of the worst human beings I have ever met. I have been here for nearly 3yrs. During that time, I saw 90% of my clothing stolen. Repeated attempts to get reimbursements for the thefts were ignored. Finally after I began using my monthly payment to the facility to cover monies spent for missing and for inedible meals, they wanted to finally talk. The outcome being I am p73ku45 to pay back all monies spent. As if that's not bad enough; the facility said they would pay for 2 trips to visit my mother in the hospital. Also pay for 1 extra trip for the funeral, if that should be the final result. All I had to do is pay the facility back $25 per month to cover the amounts paid for my missing clothing and food served that nobody would serve their dog. To the ordinary person $25/monthly might not seem so bad. But in order to stay here, I must pay all but $50 of my money from Social Security to this facility. The facility decided that they were going to reimburse me for $200. Starting with December, they promised to give me a check for $200. Every week when asked, I would be told the check would arrive next week. My mother passed away on 1/13/26. It was a Tuesday. When asked about the check, I was told, next week. Then next week, then next week again. The funeral was set for 2/6/26. The week before that I was told that something went wrong in the corporate finance office and I would receive the check early in the next week. I didn't receive it then. So I refused to sign my monthly payment voucher. They made it quite clear that if I didn't sign, they wouldn't pay for transportation to attend my mother's funeral. What kind of people do that kind of evil? So I signed the voucher and was able to put my mother to rest. Some of the nurses aren't too swift. And there are some CNA's who are lazy, some not too bright and others just down right mean. The good nurses are Joe, Shelly, Jeanie (or Jenny), Samara. The ok nurses are Darren and James. Mary needs more training. There is no reason why she should be here so long and still can't get morning meds out before 12-1pm. The really good cna's are George, Angie, Antoinette, Woodley, a Spanish girl I had on 2/8/26. Darlene. In housekeeping it's Alan, Nilsa, Danny, Rosa. Quindell in Maintenance. There's Mike, Danny, Amanda in PT. Sara and Megan in Therapy are ok. Serena in Activities.Julie the Social Worker is great l. I feel as if I can trust her with anything. Colleen, the social worker is ok.,That's probably not all. But I need to go. Today is 2/17/26. I have been asked to update my review if I felt that any changes had been made. David stopped in to speak with me the day after my original post. Our conversation was productive and I feel that the situation was resolved and in the future steps will be taken to amicably resolve situations before they become ugly. I also received visits from the DQA and the DOA who both assured me that I could rely on them for assistance in future matters before they become contentious. Also the Dietary Director put in an appearance. For that one day I felt that even with the kitchen a sort of peace. However the next day it was business as usual with the kitchen. Well, you can't have everything.
