My mother-in-law stayed at Aristacare for a short time. She was well taken care by all the staff. I have to particularly say every single staff at Aristacare are extremely soft-spoken and listen to your questions/concerns in a very attentive manner. I would definitely recommend Aristacare to anyone who needs a lovely home away from home.

My father was admitted to this facility two weeks ago and within two days was transferred to the dementia ward on the third floor. Mind you, he is not a dementia patient. The facility is dirty, understaffed, and poorly managed. The nurses are rude and impatient. I called the nurse to find out about my father’s progress and she was unprofessional and rude and hung up on me saying “i don’t know who you are”. I reported the incident with Director of quality assurance, Margarita Dedos, and all she told me was that she was going to escalate this with the nursing directors and discuss the behavioral concerns and quality of care concerns with them and get back to me. I did not hear back from her regarding this matter. Three days later, my father had a fall between 7 and 8 am at the facility, and for whatever reason they waited 2 HOURS to call an ambulance. We have no idea what they did for those two hours when he should have been sent to the ER to be treated. We have no idea why they would get him up at 7 AM and then leave him unattended for an hour knowing that he’s a fall risk. This facility is horribly mismanaged and the staff is rude and there are major concerns of the quality of care. Margarita called today just to ask about how he’s doing with zero explanation as to what happened during the incident and why it happened and no explanation at all about our concerns for being understaffed. This is clearly an issue about being understaffed because my father should’ve never been left alone after waking him up at 7 AM to get him ready and then just disappeared for an hour leaving him unattended.

I can’t say enough good things about the incredible team at AristaCare at Cedar Oaks. My mother came here during a very difficult time when she had no stability to walk, and the way the staff stepped up was truly moving. They didn’t just see another patient; they saw a person who needed extra love and patience. The aides and nurses were constantly by her side, helping her navigate safely in her wheelchair and ensuring she felt secure every step of the way. They treated her with the kind of dignity and ‘royal’ care that every son hopes for their mother. We also loved the service that the staff gave my mother. We are sincerely grateful for the warmth and genuine kindness they showed her everyday! And also I am so sorry for my other review I accidentally clicked the lower star.

This was the third time my dad was admitted to Aristacare, and since we were already familiar with the facility, it was comforting to return. Each time, we noticed improvements in both the service and the staff. The nursing staff—especially Shivani, Amandeep, Fiona, Beva, and Lou—along with aides Heena, Cherry, Grace, and Bharat were very caring and attentive. The head nurse, Gabrielle, and the nurse practitioner, Martha, always kept me informed about my dad’s condition and were very supportive. The physical therapy (PT) and occupational therapy (OT) teams played a very important role in my dad’s recovery. Neha, along with Harshal and the manager Jonathan, were always approachable and easy to communicate with regarding my dad’s progress. I am also grateful to the Indian kitchen staff for providing fresh and delicious meals. Rital, Aneri, and Daksha were always checking in about the food. Special thanks to Mudrika and Bhavana for making sure my dad was comfortable and happy and their kindness meant a lot to our family. The entire team treated my dad like family. From the therapists, nurses, and aides to the social workers (Margarita and Maya), housekeeping, food service team, and office staff (Neepa), everyone showed genuine care, kindness, and respect. We truly appreciate everything they did for my dad. 🙏

After my mom’s knee surgery, she spent time at AristaCare at Cedar Oaks for rehab, and overall we had a positive experience. The therapy team was knowledgeable, patient, and truly focused on helping her regain strength and mobility. They encouraged her while still pushing her to improve, which made a big difference in her recovery. The nursing staff was attentive and responsive, and most staff members treated her with kindness and respect. Communication was generally good, and they kept us informed about her progress and care plan. Like any rehab facility, there were occasional delays and busy moments, but the quality of care and therapy outweighed those challenges. We’re grateful for the support my mom received during an important stage of her recovery and would recommend AristaCare at Cedar Oaks to others recovering from surgery.
