My sister has been a memory care resident a year the end of this month. I initially chose Arbor Terrace over other facilities because they were most interested in my sister and my needs rather than just pushing to have our business. I live six hundred miles away and while I can visit occasionally throughout the year, communication between visit is very important. There are two individuals who do a fantastic job of that. Star Molock who is the director of the memory care unit. She knows all the residents in depth with her hands on approach to understand each's special needs. She constantly reaches out to keep me informed which is very reassuring. This is more than a job for her, and I think this is her calling. I'd give her many more stars if that were an option. Her actions fit her name, Star! The other is Janelle Woods who is the engagement director. She sends me weekly updates on my sister's activities. She also coordinates Facetime calls so I can speak with my sister. Again, five stars in not enough. While I mention these two ladies, that doesn't take away from the many others of the staff at Arbor Terrace. When I do have the opportunity to visit there, they are always pleasant, professional and go out their way to ensure my visit is both enjoyable and appreciated. Arbor Terrace has done a fantastic service for which I'm grateful for our relationship.
