I recently visited Arbor Terrace to begin to see what options are available. Alice Woodward showed my husband and I and later my mom around the facility. What we saw was a community where each person was engaged and treated with respect and dignity. The facility is clean and bright, the atmosphere cheerful, and staff members engaging. We were treated to a lovely lunch, the food was excellent and served beautifully. I would without hesitation recommend and use Arbor Terrace.

I have visited Arbor Terrace of Athens several times and have always been impressed by the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The community is beautiful, well-maintained, and feels like home from the moment you walk in the door.<br><br>What stands out most is the staff. Everyone I have encountered has been friendly, caring, and genuinely engaged with the residents. It’s clear that the team takes pride in creating a positive environment where residents can thrive. I always have a lot of questions, which Dyana and Alice always answer with joy!<br><br>The residents seem happy, active, and well cared for, and there are always activities and opportunities for social engagement. If I were looking for senior living for a loved one, Arbor Terrace of Athens would definitely be at the top of my list.<br><br>I highly recommend visiting and seeing the community for yourself.

A six year resident of Arbor Terrace, my mom's experience there was more than I could have ever asked for. It is a beautiful community and so homey and family oriented, but what really meant so much to my mom and me was the high level of care she received, both physically and emotionally. Aging is not an easy process for an individual or their loved ones, however, the folks at Arbor Terrace made it not only easier, but gave us a safe haven where we found joy, enrichment, meaningful moments and love. I cannot express the gratitude we feel for this community that embraced us with open arms and hearts as though we were part of their family. Thank you Arbor Terrace of Athens! Thank you.

I have a close friend who lives at Arbor Terrace. Prior to his move, He lived at another senior living facility in Athens but, ultimately, needed more assistance than they were equipped to provide.<br>His daughter and I visited a number of facilities in the Athens area and ultimately, the decision was made… with his approval… to make the move to Arbor Terrace and a wise decision this proved to be. It is one of the smaller senior living opportunities in this area and thus can provide a very personal relationship with individuals who reside there, which he, his family and friends much appreciate. Also, the apartments are extremely nice with the safety of the residents secured.<br>Arbor Terrace has well-trained staff who really care about the people they serve. The kitchen provides nutritious and tasty three meals a day via a menu with healthy choices from which residents can consider with oversight of staff aware of their dietary needs.<br>My friend appreciates the many activities made available in which the residents can and do participate, including off-campus field trips provided by the facility for those who can and wish to participate.<br>I think it is important to know that there are two opportunities for seniors at Arbor Terrace: One for those who need general care and assistance and a second for those who need around-the-clock oversight. Those who need more assistance are in a separate neighborhood of the building with very nice apartments and they also enjoy programming, excellent food service and the opportunity with those of adequate health to enjoy activities off-site as well.<br>I visit my friend often and have decided, as I age, if I cannot adequately provide for myself in my current home, I would like my next residence to be Arbor Terrace of Athens.
