My 83-year old mother came to Arbor Springs rehab after surgery. I cannot say enough good about the quality of care and professionalism we have experienced from the very top down: 1) the DON is always a step ahead—anticipating every need and making sure nothing has surprised us regarding my mom’s condition; 2) the physical therapists seem to know just how much to push my mom on her good days; and 3) the CNAs treat her with such gentleness and love, like she is their mother. I could not be more thankful for the integrated support my mother and my family are receiving here. Eternally grateful.

Do NOT send your loved ones here. My grandmother was sent here for rehab and literally got bed bugs from this place. BED BUGS y’all. Also, she has celiac and was supposed to have all gluten free meals and was served gluten the entire time she was there. Your loved one is better off going home than being placed here.

My mother received rehab care there. Had a night nurse she was “afraid” of. Social worker lied about attempting to contact me, was discharged after one week (due to insurance???) at 84 years old after a knee replacement. Communication is a massive issue. Arbor Springs was supposed to set up home health and did not follow through. Finally had to go back through the surgeon to get home health. It would seem most of these people do NOT care about the patient.

My 90 year old father was admitted here after being discharged from the hospital to get his blood sugar under control and get him walking again in his Walker. He spent about 2 weeks here and they did an excellent job with rehab / physics therapy, and successfully getting his blood sugar in a healthy range. PT staff and care givers did an excellent job

During my stay there I encountered some of the kindest people, and also a few of the coldest. The CNA staff was mostly great. The physical therapy department was great. A couple of nurses were very nice and a couple very dismissive and unkind. One nurse actually lied that she had done a service for me that she had not. I would not want to be there again and did not feel comfortable without a family member there to advocate for me. Went to social worker with my concerns and she was good.
