Apria wants ALL my credit card information including the three digit code AND a signed preauthorization to charge the card as they see fit. If I refuse Apria either wants the equipment returned or to bill me up front for the entire cost of the machine. I found at least one documented complaint on the Consumer Reports website where a customer provided this CC information and Apria almost immediately placed the entire cost of his equipment on his credit card because his provider was slow with the paperwork. Apria is notorious for billing errors and outright fraud and only recently settled a massive data breach lawsuit where just under two million customers had their personal and financial data compromised...including this credit card information. Equipment returned.
