Absolutely OUTSTANDING E.R. experience!! We were traveling through Appling County when we needed emergency medical attention. From the moment we pulled in, we encountered nothing short of THE BEST that humanity has to offer! The first person we saw just happened to be one of God's special angels - who could not be a better representative for Appling Healthcare! Tristan was helpful, warm and welcoming... like he was inviting us into his home. He and two sweet nurses helped me to get my family member inside and settled into a comfortable room immediately. The check-in process went smoothly and the nursing staff went to work right away. Within a matter of minutes our Nurse Practitioner was in the room. Andy treated us like family! He was thorough, patient and supportive. The necessary blood work, tests, and scans were completed AND we received the results within approximately an hour and a half from the time we arrived. Within the next half hour we were already meeting with a specialist from the Medical College of GA Hospital system in Augusta through a large video screen that was rolled into the room!! Mind-blowing! Small-town medical care is not always associated with being as updated and plugged-in to larger health facilities ... especially ones with such a stellar reputation as MCG. However, Appling Healthcare, in conjunction with MCG, has now set THE GOLD STANDARD for EXACTLY how things SHOULD BE DONE - EVERYWHERE - ALL THE TIME!! This model provided for us the most AMAZING E.R. experience of our lives: small-town care from truly exceptional providers and high-tech, innovative connections to specialists who are experts in their fields!!! THANK YOU, ACHS for being such a remarkable facility!!

Beautiful facility. Staff are very attentive to the residents’ needs. The food looks great and also smells very good. Can’t say enough great things about this place.

May 20, 2025, I went for what we thought was gonna be kidney stones or a severe UTI. After lots of tests and a CT with contrast, I did have a UTI, but I also had a 4.5 cm mass on my kidney. The ER nurses and the NP, Andy Sellers, were totally attentive to my symptoms. They kept me there until they figured out what was making me so sick. I couldn't have asked for better care than what I received at Appling Healthcare ER. The mass was Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma. It was cancer. I am now 1 month and 10 days out from having my kidney removed and I am so very thankful for you guys finding it and now I get to continue living life and watch my grandbabies grow up. Thank you all and may God bless you all abundantly!

I had to visit the ER on 8/8/25. I have nothing but compliments to give to the staff. From reception, to the nurses, to the physician to the radiology staff they were all, professional, friendly, personable, compassionate, accommodating, efficient and prompt. Qudos to all. Thank you for making me feel like I matter as a patient.
