When I first arrived it was not very accommodating but after my daughter came and we all had a conference things shaped up and it became a enjoyable facility I would like to thank everyone for the help and love that was shown to me Catherine and my baby girl Tee for the activities 💖 Rachel my wound nurse Liz the social worker Melanie physical therapy nurses Emmy Tiffany Tabitha Kanet aides Elizabeth Bianca Ella Sheila Bianca Fred maintenance 💖 God bless all of you keep giving your heart and attention to us Miranda thank you I leave on Sunday so I will keep all of you in my prayers 💖 ♥️I also want to than5 Tyronda and a special nurse that stop my tears when first got here Faness I love you keep loving people 💖 ❤️ ♥️ 💕Tiffany is awesome all the nurses and aides are awesome I love yall and thank for taking care of me God bless all of you and Tattnall Healthcare Reidsville Tyronda if I forgot anyone I'm sorry and Catherine I pray you never leave here these people need more people like you When you and Tee saw me crying you opened your arms and you took care of me every day I love you and God bless all of you ❤️ 💖 ♥️

Do NOT bring a loved one here! Its trash and half the workers included. The decline of a human being in 2-3 week span is absolutely disgusting. I can remember constantly telling them something isn't right, they kept saying oh no hes fine he just isn't eating, stop drinking 5 days in, constantly complaining about being sick, are these actual nurses? Where are the doctors other than telehealth? What makes you think a man can go from talking up a storm his first 3 days to his life being taken and can barely speak? He laid curled up and you still insisted hes fine. The admin went to his room and was squatting flies away and tiny "fruit" flies all while the man next to us had his urinal full of urine. When my mom finally had her fill she wanted to take him out of their the admin insisted my mom must make a payment and stated oh no he isn't getting discharged today you cant hold your resident's hostage, for one its against the law to even ask for payment from a third party they was so against the hospital until we just called 911, the hospital we took him too couldnt believe his urine was black like my vehicle she told me she stated they should of saw this in his diaper and not only that he was also pooping blood and we was NEVER informed. I asked what are we going to do about him not eating she said they will talk to you about a feeding tube but one was never brought up. The admin said wow we did all the leg work about my mom wanting to transport him to another location. The charge nurse with glasses couldnt find all his meds didnt bring them all at first. I wonder if he was ever even given his inhaler. You know the urine barrels stink when the other admin had to move offices!!!!! If she didnt want to breath in human waste why would there elderly patients? I am posting a photo the day they took him on March 2nd and his last photo i took of him in his bed at this nursing home before we called 911. Yes you can clearly see the decline.

This is the worst place you could ever send your loved ones. Please think twice before you put anyone there. If I could give it negative stars I would. My grandfather was placed here under the assumption he would be well taken care of. March 2nd is when he went there, just passed away March 22nd. Probably 3 days into it he complained of not feeling well due to them taking his catheter out, his catheter didn't need to come out as he had a swollen prostate and couldn't fully get his urine out, since then every time we visited he got sicker and sicker, to the point he was curled up in a fetal position because his back hurt so bad he couldn't even lay straight. Wouldn't take food or drinks for almost 2 weeks. Now most people would think your pretty dehydrated in that 2 week period. The last time we went to visit him which was March 21st he looked so bad, weak, couldn't sit up, winced in pain constantly, couldn't breathe, so we went against there orders and took him to the hospital where he was diagnosed with end stage kidney failure, now we would call and ask for updates and constantly we were told he is doing good nothing is wrong, until we started to tell them how bad he was looking. Then it was a different story. How could you tell us he was fine when he was urinating black pee? If you didn't diaper changes then someone would have seen it. Nothing was ever brought to our attention, NOTHING. It's pretty bad when your nurses tell us he has had a decline since being there. And I don't know the lady's name who delivers the food trays, but I do know you need another caring person. How dare you say I'm just gonna take your tray because we know you don't eat. Are you actually serious? How unprofessional. Your a nursing home, you 'nurse' people. What this place is doing is not this at all. Oh and we found out a care plan was supposed to be given to us 3 days after he was in your facility, you all never did such a thing. It was addressed today, I lost one of the most important men in my family because your careless actions with my grandaddy. If you would have called us and told us about his black urine etc maybe things could have been different. It's a dump in there, and God help you if your loved ones are in the back hallway by the 'urine barrels'. 0 excuses for it. Do better. Take care of people's loved ones.

The staff do care from the heart, I will say this not everyone going to always agree about their care at all times. But they do take the time to explain the care to you. They do take the time to do it right it up to you to do the work need to heal you individually no one can do it for you. So, if you come here expecting a miracle without trying it won't happen for you no matter how hard you try. If you are looking for rehab Jenn will push you to the max and help you get back on your feet, she did for me and i was walking the whole facility before therapy was completed. I am starting restorative soon and it for the walking to continue. The effort is up to you. Life is what you make it and at Tattnall Nursing home you can succeed and live a life full of Joy. it up to you to do that. I just a resident here. It not easy being in a nursing home for anyone but this is one of the best one out there and i can honestly say i might have to leave here for throwing a tray off the table cause at that time i didn't understand the dilemma was facing and communication barriers prevent me from understanding some things and i got upset. but is that a reason to discharge me i don't think so i should be given another change and i plead my case here for all to see.

I can't speak for everyone that works here - on each hall - but I can for the ones that take care of our Brother. The Nurses, CNA'S, all the Office Staff, Administrator, Kitchen staff - for all of them I can't say anything but good. They are very kind and attentive to our him. The bldg may not be the newest or up to date as some but the care he gets is exceptional and that's what is important to us. Thank you Tattnall Healthcare Center
