My experience was negative. I found it to be an unsafe environment. The high turnover of employees is detrimental to the care of the clients. I genuinely worry for anyone living there. Some of the workers are good people who try hard, and they deserve credit, but it's just not a very professional environment overall. A few negative experiences I'll describe...Some workers had a fight inside the kitchen during dinner one time. They sometimes didn't respond to the call buttons at all, so if you fall down nobody will come help. The dinner "options" were not options. You get what they made, no alternative most nights. I remember being told there was no desert bc they didn't have anything in the kitchen....but then workers had armful of cookies and rice crispy treats when they clocked out and went home...if a window that faces the parking lot is left open the marijuana smell will stink up the unit bc the workers take smoke breaks in their cars. The price to live at Promenade and the quality of life for the residents are totally mismatched. Edit: I see that Promenade responded suggesting I speak with the director. I spoke with her numerous times before writing my original review. I stand by every word I wrote above. When I say my prayers at night I often ask God to watch over the residents of Promenade bc I doubt the staff are watching over them. Maybe the place has improved, I hope so, but I'll make it crystal clear that speaking with the director is a step I took and it did very little. Asking me to speak again after I write a review makes it seem like we never spoke, so I'm clearing that up. I did it, it didn't help.

They still owe me money for two gigs in 2024, even after repeated attempts to collect including in-person visits.

This place is a joke. Their Memory Care ladies want to say they don't feed them by hand if needed. they do the worst job of babysitting ever. If you take clothes in there and you come back a week later all will be gone and in somebody else's room. I would never send my grandparents here ever

I’m trading out a hold of my contact of my father and they were so reluctant to give me information of how to get a hold of him. Talk to you four different people nobody could find where he was at, but nobody could explain to me that he needs a cell phone in the room because they don’t have regular phones in the room Kathy, who answers the phone is very rude and unprofessional Cynthia the person who handles the patient extremely rude unhelpful didn’t give me any information. Wouldn’t give me any information. Treated me like I couldn’t put 2+2 together. I was asking her questions and I was not getting any answers. I was getting silence like I am not a person that is allowed to be there. I haven’t even gotten through to find out how I could even get a message to my father. they are no help whatsoever. I do not feel comfortable with my father being in there and I can’t get a hold of him very unprofessional staff. I don’t know how they get good reviews but Kathy and Cynthia need to be reprimanded and have a talking to you so if you talk to either Cynthia in the office beware she’s very cold unprofessional and not nice.
