Don't expect much. If you're looking for a senior apartment and can do your own cooking and shopping you may like it. The grounds are adequate but seem poorly managed. Maintenance of elevators and pool are far below average. Food in dining hall is barely adequate with little choice. For the price for your loved ones I personally would look elsewhere first. If you cannot find anything for the right price this would be your last option. I wish I'd taken photos before this post. The pool is finally operational after a month, but the maintenance cart still sits with the flat tire and they can't seem to keep any help.

This is the third care facility for my Mother-In-Law. It is by far the best facility that she has been in. She totally feels that this is a home. The staff has been nothing shy of fantastic to my Mother-In-Law as well as my wife and me. What a blessing it has been to finally find a place where we can feel comfortable with. The food they serve has been fantastic. My wife and I joke that this so so much better than the restaurants that we have frequented.

This review is based on my experience with Ansel Park from my first introduction to my mom moving in. She has been in the assisted living side for about a month now. I will hopefully give another review after one year. My first visit was to the independent living. Boy it’s breathtaking. However, as my mom is 90 and already having cognitive issues choosing assisted living (with a direct connection to memory care) became evident. The sales and marketing director (Michelle) sat down with me at our first meeting - not to sell me a room but to help me figure out what I needed for my mom. She showed compassion, empathy and had a listening ear. She answered all our questions honestly and directly. I knew she had heart, and I could feel her colleagues had the same. Those that really care about their residents. Long story short - I chose Ansel Park not only for their beautiful surroundings (the room is stellar) but for this first interaction and how I felt it was the right choice. I put down the deposit (they even drove one hour to have me sign all the paperwork so I wouldn’t lose the only room available at that time!)  The leadership who is running Ansel Park is top notch, professional and open to change.  I don’t have any experience yet with the care side as my mom lives independently currently, but the facilities that I do have experience with have not disappointed me.  From the director to Maintenance to Dining to Social Activities.  All good-hearted people wanting to do the right thing for their people. What else can you ask for?  At the end of the day - my mom is safe, comfortable, making friends and I sleep well at night knowing that.  Keep up the good work Ansel Park. 👍🏽

Prior to moving my parents into Ansel Park we toured multiple locations and Ansel was the clear winner based on care, amenities, location, variety of care levels provided, food, transportation, housekeeping, activities, campus design, support staff, endorsements from residents and overall value for what you pay compared to what you receive. The entire staff puts a lot of thought, care, consideration and energy into the residents and it’s clear that they’re not just there for a paycheck, but that they all truly care for everyone who lives there and my parents have been treated like family at Ansel Park. I would highly recommend Ansel for all of your senior care needs as they can provide a total package that extends from independent living to assisted living to memory care to hospice care so once you move your loved one here you will never have to look for another facility. We are glad that we found Ansel Park for my parents’ needs and continue to appreciate all of the support and care they provide them.

If you are looking for a warm and welcoming environment for you or a family member this place is a must see! I visit this facility multiple times a week. I am very impressed with the staff, their professionalism, kindness, attentiveness to residents and overall caring which is by far the best I’ve seen. The facility is very clean and well kept up. The food is wonderful! And my friend enjoys the activities that are offered daily to the residents (he doesn’t complain about the complimentary cookies either!). I would highly recommend this living facility, I know I’ll be referring people here.
