When we visited the place, we were pleasantly surprised. It is very clean, spacious and welcoming. Our grandpa is so much calmer, he looks rested and to our surprise, he accommodated pretty quickly. We definitely recommend this place. You can schedule a tour and meet the staff, ask all the questions you need for your specific situation. The staff is very helpful and easy to talk to.

The facility provided outstanding care and support for my mom during her stay, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. From the beginning, the staff demonstrated professionalism, kindness, and a deep commitment to ensuring her comfort and well-being. The caregivers were not only attentive but also incredibly compassionate, taking the time to understand my mom's unique needs and preferences. They treated her with the utmost respect and dignity, making her feel valued and cared for every step of the way. The facility itself was clean, well-organized, and designed to feel like a true home away from home. My mom especially appreciated the home-cooked meals tailored to her dietary needs and the variety of activities offered to keep her engaged. She often spoke about how much she enjoyed the social interactions with both staff and other residents. What stood out to me was the excellent communication. The team kept me informed about my mom’s progress and any changes in her care plan, which gave me peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. Thank you for making a difference in my mom’s life and gave us the reassurance that she was in a safe, supportive, and loving environment.

Overall, I was very satisfied with the staff, facility and level of care provided to my mother during her approximately six week stay. My mother had emergency surgery and was initially admitted to a skilled nursing facility based on her required level of care. Once she began to heal and her health care requirements became less intensive, we moved her into Anastasia. She continued to receive OT-PT onsite through Kaiser during her stay and the staff was attentive and supportive of her efforts to regain her mobility and eventually transition back to her senior housing apartment and live independently. There were only a few minor issues during her stay (staff needed assistance/training on the oxygen equipment, meds running low and needing refill, not forwarding a medical bill once she discharged) but these situations were handled and in no way negatively affected her health. The following are comments from my mother, Sandra: "The rooms are very comfortable, and the facility is kept very clean. I loved the caregivers...but feel they are short-staffed. There should be 1 person on the night shift, so the others can get some sleep. I was well taken care of."

I definitely give this care home five stars! Staff was pleasant and attentive to the residents Needs. Excellent home-cooked meals. The facility was clean including the residence rooms smelling fresh! The administrator Lacy Vincent was exceptionally knowledgeable, compassionate and hands-on with the residence as well as educating staff. I got the pleasure of watching her decorate for the Christmas season and dance around putting the most amazing smiles on the residence faces! Great to see a care home doing what they need to do to make a difference!

Unfornunately this was not near a pleasant experience for my family. My dad was admitted for a transition time and get better with the hopes and plans of being able to live more independantly. The initial tour and during the stay, the building was always clean, the small staff was always pleasant. My dad's room was in the back area and assured there is a staff member was always nearby. He was also given a pendant call button if he needs help. After a couple days we noticed the bed was leaning towards the wall. Since he is older and weak, he has trouble sitting up, since the bed was leaning, he was trying to sit up - up hill. That would be difficult for most anyways. The bed never was addressed by the nurse in charge of the facility. The bed did look like it came over on the Mayflower. About a week in, he had an issue that he needed some small help non-medical. No response from the call button, it was later discovered the call button did not work. Since there was no response, he wheeled his wheelchair to the hall to yell for help. In that process of moving in the wheelchair, he accidentally ran over the catheter that pulled and caused internal bleeding. The staff called the family to ask if they need to call 911??? Really? Your asking us? After a night in the ER, he was moved back to the house. Overall the meals he was provided varied from a small portion of rice and yogurt, toast or cold ceral for breakfast. A pizza was brought in and each resident was given 1 slice. He was always hungry. The PT and OT had given instructions to the staff to help move him and promote a certain amount of exercise. No help was given, and they never helped him walk, always left in the wheelchair. The lead nurse in charge of making sure meds were distributed, only visited the site a total of 5 hours in the 2 1/2 weeks my dad was there. The discharge instructions that were given to staff, was to have BP checked each day and a med given whether high or low. The BP was only taken 1 time in 2 1/2 weeks. During my visits I did notice more than 1 electrical outlet had a broken cover, this could cause someone to get shocked. In one hallway a motion light was secured to the ceiling powered by an extension cord coming down the wall, safety and fire hazard. In any facilty, it is often the family is the voice of the patient. In this case there was very poor communication from the lead nurse. We have since moved our dad to another facitity. I would encourage anyone looking here, look deeply into the management and if using this facility, visit every day and insist on the proper care. Answer to the business reply. Most of my information was what I saw or direct information from a family member. The bed issue, I noticed it for 3 days. The light and outlet issue was my observation. When he left, the meds were counted. Several were never given to him.
