My family and I decided to call this facility home for My grandmother. We were a little nervous at first, since this was her first time going to a facility, but in the end, she is very happy and loves the staff at the location. Definitely would recommend for other families.

My mother was living at Legacy in Pooler. Her Alzheimer’s/ Dimentia- had progressed to a phase of aggression- and Legacy was not equipt to handle that. 6 times they sent her out by Ambulance- and one time she was sent away to a geriatric facility in Thomasville GA for a week long eval- then returned. Short of her one year anniversary- they evicted her because she was too much for them . Amber Grove took her in.They have been very professional and kind and had her smiling on her second day there. They do have the ability to handle aggressive outbursts- and I’m so grateful for that! Maybe this is moms forever home - everyone can find some peace now. Praise the LORD!

My mother just moved in, and is very happy. Katina and the other staff members are amazing. Food looks great. Facility is bright and cheerful.

My dad was placed at Amber Grove in the fall of 2025 for his safety and we just could no longer handle him at home. Dr. Lisa Ciucevich/Owner Director, and Lisa Waters/associate and administrator, have been top notch to work with. There is absolutely nothing that they get flustered over. Fast forward to February, our mom decided that she should move in to help keep dad calm. Yet again they were stellar to work with and incredibly accommodating to our parents. The staff are also fantastic, always keeping their clients busy and involved. They are getting more opportunities for socialization than they ever did living at home and alone. Our family really cannot say enough about Amber Grove and are so thankful for their guidance, compassion, patience and knowlege in this horrible time we have been going through. We would completely and comfortably recommend Amber Grove to care for your loved ones.

The cheerful yellow facade of the Amber Grove at Savannah Seasons memory care residence is your first clue that this is a different and special place. The ambiance is carefully orchestrated. Owner/director Lisa Ciucevich has called upon her 30 + years of elder care experience in designing a home that embodies her belief in the dignity, humanity and potential of every resident. She draws on her knowledge of who they were, and her acceptance of “where they are now” to provide familiar activities and objects that help keep them connected to their own lives.<br><br>There are pictures and colorful scenes everywhere. Residents’ doors are adorned with banners that reflect their interests and personalities. Music or movies play in the common room, and everyone is encouraged to join in games and activities at their own pace and ability.<br><br>The reality of memory care is that the challenges are many and the need for patience and compassion is endless. This is where Lisa, along with her associate and administrator Lisa Waters, and all of their staff, excel. They understand that dementia takes many forms and progresses through many stages, none of which are under the control of the person living with the disease. This level of understanding is the thing that has made it possible for me to surrender my loved one to Amber Grove with the peace of mind that they will be treated with care, dignity and respect.
