Staff is very welcoming and considerate of their Residents. They treat them like family. It is evident from the moment you walk in that they care and ensure your positive experience. It is a healing and calming environment. In my time in Los Angeles, I will remember how full my heart was with them. Thank you and keep pushing.

My experience with Alden Terrace Convalescent Hospital has been outstanding. The staff members are caring, patient, and genuinely dedicated to the well-being of every resident. They take the time to get to know each person and treat them with kindness and respect. The facility is always clean, comfortable, and welcoming, which gives for family great peace of mind. The nurses and caregivers communicate regularly with the family and make sure ur loved one’s needs are always met — whether it’s medical care, meals, or social activities. I would highly recommend this place for the best quality of care.

I had to give this place one star in order to write my review, but in reality Id put zero stars! Please stay far away from this with your loved ones who need some assisting. My dad was there for a little over 3 months, walked in nice & strong & left in an ambulance nearly dead. They over medicated him, left him to lay in his own feces & paid zero attention to his needs. Id go visit & they all pretended to be the sweetest care team from the social workers to the nurses. He had feces inbedded in his nails & hands because they wouldnt clean him up. Hes now malnourished & unable to walk. They were suppose to give him therapy & never did. There are so many other things to put not sure of the space provided here. Please take your loved ones else where or keep them @ home with a nurse if possible

This is one of the worst places I have ever been to! I can't even believe we had put my mother in such an awful place!! We only settled on this place because my mother's house tragically burned down and we can't care for her currently. This place had a bed opening so we took it. From the get go, I did not like the looks of this place. It was not the cleanest and the most unfriendliest. The nurses here are not on top of their jobs and my mom was not really watched well. We brought her enough clothes for at least a week or 2 and she always had the same shirt on that wasn't hers and her pants were always dirty. I spoke to the nurses there about my concerns and they just said ok and did nothing. The security is not the best and I felt that my mom could walk out the door at any moment. This place is ridiculous and I would not recommend anyone to bring a loved one here. The reviews speak for themselves and I feel horrible that we brought our mother here. We lasted only a week here and transfered my mom out of this dungeon. She is in a new facility closer to home and this new place is awesome, it's like day and night. The facility is clean and the nurses are excellent. We couldn't be more pleased with this new place. Never bring a family member to Allen terrace, it's a nightmare!

I went to visit my brother at the facility and the whole while I was there, no one came in to check on him at all. The employees are not doing there jobs. The restroom was in needing of a good scrub down, the toilet seat had urine all over it, there was a portable toilet on wheels that had feces left on it from the last person that used it. My brother's knees are almost the size of melons and the skin on both feet are cracking and shiny since no one is actually doing their jobs. The employees were either talking up a storm with each other or on cell phones. Some of the patients have TVs while others do not even though all patients should have one for each other. My understanding is that they have internet, but only the employees are able to use it and as for the patients, who cares (Employees). I forget what is wrong with my brother's stomach, but he was given onion soup one day knowing that he could not eat it. I needing dentures so that he could have teeth, they gave him glasses that were so thick that I do not remember that last time I saw anyone wearing thick glasses. Why are the employees supposedly working at the facility from having the training, but are not trying to do their job that they are getting paid to do? FREE money all around while no work to do I guess. Almost four hours and no one came in to check on my brother even once. Even the social worker will not do her job, sad. I am reading all the reviews and I just don't get it, praise is being given, but its not the truth.
