When my daughter first went to Alba Ct several years ago, it was so good for her. Every year it has gone downhill. They have been through 5 directors. One director thought it was a good idea to admit several psych patients that were so disruptive that they were banging on her door at night, yelling, and banging doors. One was leaving poop on the halls and floor. The air conditioner has been broken for one year, the elevators break down all the time. In fact, both are down as I am writing this. Maintenance doesn't fix things, the med techs don't stay on the floor they are assigned to and go off in pairs wherever and whenever. They don't answer calls. There are a few good ones, but not enough. The activities are minimal with no budget. Residents have had bed bugs and German cockroaches. That is when my daughter left that facility. I would highly not recommend this place until they have a complete overhaul, and for that they will need a lot of money going into it!

Run and keep going. Do not bother with this facility. I've been trying to figure out what they're doing to my mother for months and I've been shuffled around to three different directors with no answers. I can't get the agreement, I can't get contacts for doctors, I can't get them to confirm they're doing anything for my mother, who by all means is living in squalor while I pay an outside facility to clean her room. All reports indicate that the staff are stealing from her and that her room key (THAT SHE HAS) does not work, and has not worked for months, and they refuse to fix, even when I agree to pay an extra fee for a NEW KEY that she ALREADY HAS. I have the current caretakers, that I have hired out of my own pockets, to label and date each bag of laundry that the facility refuses to take care of, I have an incredible amount of photo and video evidence of their failure to do anything other then twiddle their thumbs and do nothing.
