My father was here for rehab after having a pacemaker put in, and I have to say, the staff was wonderful. The nurses, CNAs, physical therapists, and even registration — I believe her name was Betsy — were all absolutely on point and did the best they could with the staff they had. Everyone worked together and helped each other out, and it really showed. The only downside was the food, which honestly was pretty bad. But you have to pick and choose your battles. I was able to bring my dad meals, so that part was manageable. What mattered most was the excellent care and physical therapy he received, and thanks to them, he is now home and doing extremely well. If you need a place for rehab, I would definitely recommend this facility. The care team was very, very good.

My 90 year old mother spent over a month recovering from a broken femur in Adviniacare's rehab facility. I was very pleased with the care she received from the nurses, to the CNAs, to the staff. The physical and occupational therapy she received got her back on her feet so she could return home. The food was good, too. I thought mom might need to go into their assisted living and Chetta was super helpful and supportive throughout the process along with Betsy, Julia and Phyllis in creating a care management plan. As with any care facility, I recommend advocating for your loved one as much as possible during their stay. One final shout out to Deborah.

Well….. where do I start? If I could give zero ⭐️, I would. My almost 93 year old MIL was moved into AC in late August of 2023. She started in the AL side of the facility. They quickly became aware of what we were trying to tell them, she needed to be in the Memory Care secured area. She did ok up until 4-5 months ago when AC decided profit 💰 was more of a priority than patient care. They let the nurse go who actually cared about the residents and was SKILLED & looked out for each of them. Next was another nurse who left on her own because she was now taking on the duties of (2) nurses. Now we were left with no one who could speak English, UNDERSTOOD cognitive impairment AND meds, diets, routines, etc. They then hired “multi-trained techs” who literally give them meds, give them showers, give them their food and wash their floors, toilets and try to make their bed…. NOT Skilled in anyway. A CT scan at SMH showed my MIL had a stroke, (Advinia never knew this) which caused 1 if not 2 separate falls. She had pneumonia (that we told them that we suspected on a Thursday) however, we were not notified until the FOLLOWING Tuesday to ask if we wanted her on antibiotics…. SIX days!! She fell 3x in less than 1 week due to lack of employees. Upon returning to AC from SMH~ she fell for a 3rd time in less than 18 hours since her return. My husband spent the night in her room to be sure she wouldn’t fall again. She went 13 (THIRTEEN) hours in the same Depends) 13 HOURS! AC then proceeded to tell us that they could no longer care for my MIL in the memory care unit, (who is 92 & will be 93 in January), who is legally blind, end stages of dementia, wheelchair bound that she was a “walk risk” and could not go to their Skilled nursing because their SN is not a secured area. A straight faced LIE~ confirmed by 3 nurses in duty in SN. All doors in SN are coded. We had no idea what we were going to do. Hospice was called and stepped in (sorta), they gave us a couple of options. Capri Health & Rehab being one of them. We stopped in and told them our story~ they had her transferred to their facility within 4 hours and was a SEAMLESS transition thankfully . If you care about your loved one, please choose another facility. NO ONE DESERVES TO BE TREATED LIKE THIS. Gross Negligence at the very least. End of life deserves dignity ~ In my opinion ~ this facility should be shut down. This is my first step, I am reaching out to every agency related to AL or MC to make sure this does not happen to others. Advinia is NOT the facility it once was. SHAME ON THEM ALL. They all know what is going on. The good ones are leaving because nothing will change. Patrick (corner office) - waste of your breath trying to talk to him. (Deer in headlights look) while talking to him about MIL care. Did NOTHING about ANY of our concerns. KD in admissions - SN~ lied straight to our face about being secured. Roma~ Nurse on duty M-F, had several conversations with her regarding MIL care….. went in one ear and out the other

Words cannot express how AMAZING, CARING and COMPASSIONATE Chetta, Roma and the whole team at AdviniaCare are! Including Joe, Becky, Lester, Leo, Flo, Dahana and Angie. Paula, Jolene, Stephen, Marcia at the front desk. I know I’m forgetting some names and apologize. My experience from day one from coordinating my Dads move to Memory Care at their facility and working with Chetta who put me at ease instantly thru one of the most difficult times in my life. I would not have had my Dad go anywhere else. They made me and my Dad feel like family and were there for me 100% until his passing last week. Their continued love and support is still there and I will truly be forever grateful 🙏.

I recently moved my mom to the assisted living side of a adviniacare in Venice and she absolutely is thriving. She loves all of the activities and the outings and it’s eating three square meals a day along with her little dog Sophie, they go for walks around the property and enjoy the scenery, I couldn’t be happier and also my family of unburdening us with worry for our mom ! The nurses and staff are always willing to help and very courteous to the residents. I honestly could not have picked a better place for our mom
