About Adoration Home Health

Adoration Home Health is a home health and hospice provider based in Grand Junction, Colorado, offering care and support services to patients recovering from surgery or managing end-of-life needs in their own homes.

Families report notably mixed experiences. Those satisfied praised the clinical competence and compassion of nursing staff, with one family noting that caregivers "spent all the time they needed" and "go the extra mile." Patients recovering from surgery appreciated thorough monitoring by registered nurses, and families in hospice situations valued the emotional support and attentiveness of the care team, including chaplain services. However, other families experienced significant frustration with scheduling reliability, late arrivals, last-minute appointment changes, and missed visits without notice, and one family had a distressing experience with unmet end-of-life care promises.

The service carries a 3.8 out of 5 Google rating across 12 reviews. The split between five-star and one-star ratings suggests consistency issues: when staff engagement and clinical care align, families feel genuinely supported; when scheduling and coordination fail, trust breaks down quickly.

Abode Home Health Services came to the rescue with visits to my home ordered by my foot surgeon. The surgery was a major remodel of my toes on my left foot. A qualified and friendly Registered Nurse checked on my progress and recovery from the surgery. Checking my temperature, blood pressure, oxygen saturation of my blood and the healing of the wounds on my foot. The RN was a great help re-bandaging my foot which often got wet. I recommend this service to anyone who lives alone and is up there in years. You need to request it from your surgeon at Post Op appointment.

Busy people with a lot to do which is to be expected. That being said, every single one of them spent all the time they needed to take care of my father, and they were all super patient, and just fantastic. He was very happy with them, as were all of his family. These people care and go the extra mile, the experience for my father and for his family were perfect. Everything happened quickly, response times were amazing and they were all so kind and patient. Very much appreciate their services and could not recommend them higher. Thank you so much! ;-)

I am currently using this service and they are amazing. I have had great response from the nursing team the Chaplin and pharmacy. I am so thankful that we were able to use this service. They made sure I had everything I needed even if it was just to talk me through the difficulty of my husband's care. His RN Kate was so attentive to our wishes and how we wanted to care for my husband in such a difficult time I thank God for this service

I would not ever use this facility again. We thought we had all the necessary steps in place for end of life care for my father in law. We were way wrong!!! They told us they would come make in him comfortable in his last hours of life and they would take care of it all. Well that did not happen far from it hospice nurse was called around 8:30 pm to let them know he wasn’t breathing or doing well. We sat with my father in law for over an hour and half waiting for someone to show while we are watching him in pain and struggling. My husband calls and the lady said she wasn’t coming she blew it off and to call the main help line??? By this point he was bad and we had to get him to his bed he was a 280 lb man and it was just my husband and I trying to do this and my father in law could not walk. We got him There called hospice again and the helpline said to give him his morphine and make him comfortable and they would be on their way which was over an hour away. We had no morphine there and pharmacy was closed. We were told that there should have already been some there for him?? Apparently his regular nurse that came in to see him did not do her job of making sure everything was ready for this moment. We watched him die violently for over 2 hours before his heart gave out!! No one should have to go thru this when you have taken measures to have hospice in place for this reason!!! I have called and left messages for a supervisor NO one will call me back. By the way the one nurse called us on her way with morphine but he had already passed away!! Do not use this place if you want your loved one to have a peaceful passing!! So Sad!!!
