Iam a caregiver currently working on call for Addus HomeCare. I get to cover different shifts for different staff, I love to hear their clients stories of how amazing their caregivers are and how much their caregivers do for them. A client for example said I have bad back problems and my caregiver cleans and scrubs my tub and bathroom very well I appreciate my caregiver so much. Another client said im diabetic and my caregiver takes very good care of me Iam so blessed have a caregiver like her. These are the kind of conversations I love to hear very heart warming.

I work here. The company has a good mission. Several compensations, such as PTO, mileage pay, and semi flexible scheduling. In my view management does what they can, but having a degree in social work, I know that sometimes there are rules set by the state that make certain requests from clients and caregivers unattainable. It can be frustrating, but not much management can do as it comes from people above them at the state level.
