Aberdeen Village is a full-service Life Plan Community in Olathe, Kansas, operated by Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America. The community offers a complete continuum of care including independent living, assisted living, memory care, short-term rehab, and long-term skilled care options on a 35-acre campus.
As a faith-based, not-for-profit community, Aberdeen Village is dedicated to serving residents with a culture inspired by Christian values and heritage. The community provides customized attention at all levels of care designed to enhance residents' lives and align with their abilities. Independent living residents have priority access to move into assisted living or long-term care as their needs change.
Dining is an important component of the community culture, with seasonal and always-available menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A monthly point system provides flexibility in choosing meals included in monthly fees. The community features a lake where residents can watch ducks and geese, and those in independent living have access to ground floor apartments with garage parking available.
Pets are allowed in independent living, including cats, small dogs, birds, and fish upon approval, with a $500 non-refundable fee. Residents in independent living maintain active social lives and set their own daily schedules, living in private apartments while benefiting from a maintenance-free lifestyle. Assisted living residents who need help with tasks such as housework or bathing can perform many activities independently and move around as they choose.
Long-term care is available for seniors living with chronic health conditions who need more substantial help from dedicated caregivers. The community accepts Medicaid-approved residents in long-term care, though Medicaid does not apply to assisted living. Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America is a not-for-profit organization with 75 years of senior living experience in Kansas and Missouri.
