I am so grateful that I found the Abbington for my father. The staff truly cares about the needs of everyone there, they are kind, and patient, and knowledgeable, they know every resident by name and always greet them with a smile, they communicate with the family any concerns they may have, and make each resident feel loved. The facility is always kept very clean. They offer alot of activities for everyone to enjoy. The patio is a bonus for the residents to be able to enjoy getting outside. Having my father here was a blessing for him and I both, I always felt he was safe and well cared for while being there. Everyone there felt like family to each other.

My husband and I had such a good feeling about this wonderful place when we were looking for the right assisted-living center for my father-in-law. The Abbington proved hands-down to be the right choice. The staff is so caring, understanding, and patient. This facility is a huge blessing to those who live there and their families. It is spacious, beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Dad looked forward to going to the dining room for meals and was very complimentary of several dishes he loved most. The Abbington contains lovely activity areas and even an ice cream bar for residents and their visitors. They make everyone feel welcome and know how to care for every person with kindness. They have several levels of service and were compassionate, generous, and gracious, especially in Dad's last days. This is a place of love and happiness. I'd choose it for myself one day.

I'm not very happy. Most of the cna's are decent, which is great. Then others, including a large portion of the leadership staff treat you as if you are incompetent or feeble when your mind is working just fine. Even if it wasn't, talk to me and with me, not at me. I'm a person. Please treat me like one. Listen to your patient's and don't dismiss them. I'm still waiting for the meeting that I requested...<br>Tori Day

My mother was in need of memory care when we first came to the Abbington. The wait list was over 10 people long, but Josie and her team assessed our mom and found that she qualified to live in the assisted living area until a room opened in memory care.<br>Mom’s time at the Abbington was full of kindness and respect. The staff was outstanding in serving her. The facilities are top-knotch. Even the in-house menu is full of choices so you never get tired of the selections or go hungry. Five stars to the Abbington…we would give 10 if we could!!!
