My husband, Richard Lester, developed dementia and sadly it progressed rather fast. He had always been a “people person” and enjoyed being around and meeting new friends. I believe being homebound caused his condition to worsen even faster. Once we discovered Senior Retreat we enrolled him and his condition actually mentally and physically improved. Making friends there and the staff being so outgoing and engaging with him made a real difference. They did crafting projects, singing, each holiday was celebrated with projects and food and treats. The program there is great and the staff are truly dedicated to the patients.

This is a wonderful place to take your loved one when you need help taking care of them. Everyone at A Senior Retreat is a person who really cares about and takes very good care of your loved one. You will be able to leave them there and go do the things you need to without any worries. Check them out, you will not be disappointed.

Had been praying to find a good place for my mother in law. Searched online and found Susan's website for senior retreat in our area. They are so good with her and she loves going, she gets to socialize, play games, crafts, listens to old music and watches old shows she enjoyed in her younger years. She always tells me every time I pick her up, how nice and caring they are to her. I am so thankful to God, that he lead me to a place for her to get to do fun things with people her age group, than sitting around being bored all the time. ❤️😇

This daycare is the best place for my mom she’s been here for almost 2.5yrs they love her so much and it’s been an excellent routine for her. Getting up and going and being in a positive social environment is an effective therapy for Alzheimer’s patients imo and according to the research when we were going to all the seminars a few years back We are convinced that being at A Senior Retreat has extended her quality of life like we couldn’t have done on our own! Highly recommend to anyone!!
