They have cared for my husband for more than a year. The staff treats him with dignity and respect, as if he were their loved one. They serve good food and interact with the residents. Highly recommend.

My mother was a resident here for the last two and a half years of her life. She received excellent care. We never had a worry for her which gave us great peace of mind. The staff and home are outstanding!

My mother was a resident for 2 1/2 years. Her care was one of a kind. As my mother entered her home very agitated, confused and scared due to an extended stay at the hospital. I couldn’t get any local skilled nursing facilities to accept her because she wanted to leave. I immediately called Eldercare & Guidance Counseling to complete an assessment for immediate placement. It was quick and easy thank goodness. Within 3 days she was much more settled, Joan, personally sat with her, calmingly getting to know her. With her being a fall risk they took every precaution. I am pleased to say my mother was content and comfortable, well cared for and at peace until the end. Joan takes pride in her staff and knowing my mother was cared for 24/7 I could carry on with my life, feel welcomed at anytime into her home to visit my Mom. Staff lovingly greeted me always, I highly recommend her homes.

Joan and her team are the closest thing to guardian angels I have ever personally seen. They took exceptional care of my grandfather and communicated extremely well in a very difficult time for our family. I cannot recommend 1st Seniors hope enough. If there was 10 stars I would give them all 10!

My father was at First Senior’s Hope for 5 months at the end of his life. From the moment he walked in the door till he took his last breath he was cared for with love, kindness and professionalism. I can’t say enough about this wonderful, wonderful place. From the staff to the owner Joan and her wonderful husband, it was a blessing to have my father be there.
